Apologies

There will be strong language in this chapter. If you don't want to read it, then don't. I don't write my stories to please people with judgemental issues. I write to please the people who really want to read my story without complaining about it. Sorry I'll shut up now ;) ........................................................................... (Rose's POV) Since they relocated me to this new room, I have been in here for 2 weeks. They said I had to stay here for another week. Which means that I won't have a lot of time to train for the next match. I told the doctor that I have to be out by a certain time, and he said I'll have to miss the next match. Of course I put on a convincing face and said ok, but for real.... Like hell I'm gonna miss that match. They have me on crutches now, and they said that they aren't letting me go because an "anonymous person" told them not to trust me on my own. But what really shocked me, was that same person payed all the doctors fees. I have a pretty good idea who that was though. Anyway, they said that they would put me in a boot when I am discharged. Like hell I'm gonna wear a boot.... On both of my legs. Zac has been visiting daily, and sincs I have no other family who cares, I honestly enjoy his visits. Other than that, I've literally done nothing but watch TV while I was here. The hospital is so boring. I hear a knock on my door. "Rose?" Zac pokes his head in the door. "Come in." I say noticing another person behind him. He is a tall husky guy with boots, jeans, and a T-shirt on. "Rose, I want you to meet someone." Zac says motioning towards the other guy. "Hi. My name is Rose." I say with a smile on my face. He waves in response. He turns pale when I speak to him. He's nervous about something. When he doesn't speak, Zac does. "Rose, I'm gonna tell you this, and I don't want you to go all Lion on him." He says rubbing the back of his neck. I give him a confused look. "Rose, this is the guy who was driving the truck that hit you." Zac says as he gives me a look that says 'stay calm, please.' My eyes widen in shock, and my smile disappears from my face. The guy looks down and his face turns red in shame. "His name is Joe." Zac says stepping aside so me and Joe can talk. There was a moment of silence. Then I spoke up. "How are you, Joe?" He looks up at me with wide eyes. "Well, right now, I'm nervous as hell. But your the one in the hospital bed, so I should be asking you that question." He says with his hands still in his pockets. "Well, I'm fine. Why are you nervous?" "Because your Lion. And I've heard that you broke someone's jaw just because they mouthed off to you. So I could only imagine what you'll do to someone who put you in the hospital." I saw a single sweat break from his forehead as he spoke. "Well, they call rumors rumors for a reason. But I didn't break her jaw for mouthing off to me. I broke her jaw because my opponent made an illegal move, and she didn't call it when I pointed it out to her. I asked why, and she simply said that she didn't want me to win and she thought that I was a cheating b***h. So I punched her in the face, not knowing I broke her jaw at the time. When she fell to the ground I said 'How's that for cheating you b***h' and I walked away. I only won that match because the people were to afraid of me to say that I lost. But that's just my side of the story against millions of rumors. Believe what you want." I watched as the tension in him released a little bit. "Wow. That's amazing. Umm... I-I am so sorry that you're in here. I didn't mean to hit you." He said putting his hands back in his pockets. I move myself so my feet are off the bed, and I am sitting. I try to get up, but fail and land back on the bed. Zac rushes over to my crutches, and hands them to me. I can hear Joe's breath quicken as I make my way over to him he steps back, only to hit the wall behind him. I stop a few steps in front of him. "Look, Joe, I forgive you. I could be dead right now, and I would still forgive you. Why? Because you not only didn't do it on purpose, but everyone deserves a second chance. Plus, I'm glad that you're not in the room next to mine." I hobble back over to the bed. "Uuuhh....T-thanks. I guess." He says akwardly as I put my feet back on the bed. Zac motions for the guy to walk out with him, and they both leave the room. Then the doctor walks in. "How are we doing today, Rose?" He asks grabbing the clipboard off the table in the corner of the room. Fine. Can I go home now? My legs feel great." I say impatiently waiting to go home. "Actually, I am going to let you go a couple days early. You've been showing some improvement in your legs, and you've healed everywhere else. So I'll have the nurses bring you the boots, and you can leave tomorrow." He says with a smile. "Why can't I leave today?" "Just taking precautionary measures." He says putting the clipboard down and leaving the room. I will finally be able to go home tomorrow!
