finding myself

I have travelled across the globe meeting new people and creatures like vampires, werewolves and faes gathering experiences and wisdom , you'd think I would be a lady with thousands of grey hair scattered around her wrinkled scalp. Jasmine, jasmine I hear my mom called sighing deeply I answered ,yes mom what are you doing help your sister prepare for school she said ,sighing once again, this time lightly I did as she said ,this is after all my responsibility as the first child.My dad died four years ago when I was fourteen , I miss him a lot. I kind of feel like I have a lot in common with the disney cinderella, except I am not maltreated at least I think I am not,and there is definitely no prince charming this is the real world but I do feel like am not part of the family, I always feel I do not belong here or maybe I had been reading too much fiction they have been changing my mentality. I rubbed the pendant of the necklace I saw in the library a couple of months ago, I think it's cute but most importantly it helps me calm down. I sighed once again I have doing that a lot lately maybe I should visit the basement that is where the library is actually. Dad made it for me when I was fourteen , oh and I forgot to tell you I would be eighteen next week I'm actually looking forward to it I know nothing special is going to happen but there is this feeling when you know you would officially become an adult.
