"Pass me the sauce" I said to Lilly who was busy with her phone and giggling to herself. We were currently in the school cafeteria having lunch. My name is ayyra, I'll be turning eighteen soon. I have three best friends who mean the world to me. They were the first friends I made when I first came to this school. although, none of them were from my pack we still get along well. "No way, oh my God. There's no way this is happening for real!" I heard Lilly shout and I wondered what it was this time. "Ohhh! Am I dreaming? Somebody, wake me up" Ahhh... She's so dramatic. "Maybe you're really in dream land" Kenneth said scowling at her. "Do you never get tired of looking into your phone?" Marie shook her head. "Guy's this is not time for you to criticize me. Look here" Lilly said showing us her phone "It says, prince Alexander from the royal family. I mean the only royal lycanthropes family we all know would be transferring to our school!" "Is that a picture of him?" Maria asked gasping "I can't believe there's someone this handsome" "Right, I have to change my style from now on who knows? He might notice me" Lilly giggled I sighed and shook my head at her "Don't forget there are still three bitches ruling this school" I said busting their bubbles. The three bitches I was referring to were the school beauties. Maya, Khloe and Rina. Maya is a lycan herself only she was just an ordinary lycan while the rest of us though not all were werewolves. There were only a handful of lycans enrolled in our school. They were stronger, faster, bigger and could stand on two legs. And Khloe, well Khloe is my sister Yeah, blood sister but we hated each other so much that we don't see ourselves as sisters anymore and there was Rina who was an alpha's daughter "How can I forget that! I guess we don't stand a chance anymore" Marie said pretending to sob while Lilly gave her a dirty look "You give up so easily?" "When it comes to looks Maya is really one of the ugly ducklings hmphh just because she's a lycan she thinks can get whatever she wants" Lilly complained. "Either way, she's still a lycan. Stronger than you both are" I said taunting them while feeling their sharp glares on me. I laughed. Just then I saw Maya and her group enter the cafeteria. "Talking about the devil" Lilly smirked. "You better not infuriate her, no one can save you this time" Marie said to Lilly reminding her of what had happened just a week ago when she had gone against Maya. Well, I was on a sick leave so I didn't know exactly what transpired between them. Maya and her group walked past us and her scarf dropped right next to Lilly and then I knew trouble was already brewing when Maya turned to Lilly and asked her to pick it up. If it were any other person they'd do just that but Lilly was a proud person and bit reckless at times. She just wouldn't do it. I clenched my fists as I watched the situation unfold. Lilly wouldn't pick it up that I know and it was just so. Lilly looked down at the scarf then turned back and continued pressing her phone as if there was no one talking to her. This infuriated Maya and in the next moment Maya snatched the phone out of her hands and smashed it on the floor "I said to pick it up!" Maya said in a commanding tone and I growled, my wolf annoyed. By now the students were already gathered around and watching the scene. If only she was just werewolf I'd pounce on her already but she was lycan. I can't be foolish enough to fight a lycan but my wolf disagreed with me and in the next moment I find myself slamming my hands on the desk and standing from my seat. Oh Nelly, don't do this to me. "Do you not have hands to pick it up yourself? Why must she do it for you?" I shouted glaring daggers at her. I completely ignored Kenneth who was pulling me back. Maya and her group growled and I growled right back at them. Our animal sounds filling the air. My eyes lingered on my sister for a while before I looked away. I heard Maya's footsteps as she came closer and closer to me until I could smell her scent. She didn't stop until she stepped hard on my toes. I felt a jolt of pain and tried to move away but I couldn't. She was holding me right in place smirking as she looked me in the eye "You're even weaker than I thought" She said and in the next moment she pushed me hard to the floor and I fell on my butts few feets away from her. I heard the laughs of everyone as I definitely looked funny right now. I was so enraged and so was my wolf. My friends quickly rushed over to help me up. I felt pains on my butts and my toes she had stepped on that I found it hard to stand properly still, I forced myself not to stagger in front of everyone. I stood and smirked looking at Maya then I used my wolf speed to get to the table where some food leftovers were remaining, picked up a plate and slammed it into her face before anyone could react. Gasp! I heard the gasp of everyone, some were shocked, some angry and some were secretly laughing. When the plate fell off and I saw Maya's enraged, colorful and sticky face, I felt satisfied and pleased with myself smiling when I saw her run away probably to the restroom to wash her face and reapply her makeup. The smile wiped out from my face as I realized what I just did. Shit! I'm in a deep mess. Thanks to my easy to annoy wolf. Maya definitely wouldn't let this go...
