Donovan had to admit to himself, albeit begrudgingly, for the first time, he wasn’t upset at the sight of the crazy creature, who couldn’t seem to decide on a hair color. She seemed to spread chaos wherever she went, and he still wasn’t quite sure what her agenda was, but she’d led him to Roxy’s mother and opened his eyes to what was really going on.
Regardless of his new-found positive feelings toward her, he refused to call her The Pixie, and he wasn’t about to roll out a red carpet. He still was trying to figure out her angle.
Apparently, he wasn’t the only one as Roxy rushed at the diminutive being before he grabbed her around the waist and held her against his chest.
