Chapter 17

949 Words
At work, the pace was hectic as Catie had to try and do as much as possible in advance, in order to have her tasks run smoothly while she was away. Even then, there was time for snatched secret glances and smiles between the two. Every morning, Dave and Catie met at the nursery and every afternoon at the tennis courts. Their kisses and touching grew steadily more desperate as the Friday before her vacation approached. Their need for each other grew daily and they both realised when she returned, they could not delay much longer, taking their relationship to the next level. When they kissed desperately on that Friday after work, Catie’s right hand traveled down between them, and enveloped Dave’s hardness in her hand. Dave gasped in her mouth, and she slowly started moving her hand up and downwards. She couldn’t believe the heat that emanated through his trousers against her hand. Dave's fingers gripped her shoulders as he leaned his head backward and watched her emotions play across her face. Through Dave’s trousers, besides his exquisite hardness, Catie could feel how his p***s throbbed at being stimulated in such a manner. Dave pressed Catie against the wall, placing his hands on either side of her head as their kiss became volatile. Catie withdrew her hand from between them and clung to Dave desperately as he moved against her in a simulation of making love to her. It was heaven. It was torture - there were clothes between them? Their tongues in each other's mouths imitated what it would be to make love. Dave’s breathing was ragged and he suddenly stopped dead still, and held himself away from Catie. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Dave’s flushed face, the control he was fighting for etched on his features. She tried to pull him closer again, and he firmly said “No!” Catie felt rebuffed, and it must have shown her face, because he continued “Please? I am on the brink of coming, and it won’t be this way for us the first time. When you return, we WILL make love, and know each other in the full sense of the word. Not now. Not like this. Please?” Catie relaxed and nodded in assent. He was right. They stood for a while, loosely holding each other while Dave struggled for control. Catie voiced what she was thinking, “when I’m away, and you miss me, think of today, and also what we have to look forward to when I return. But how will we manage it Dave?” Dave thought for a minute then answered, “I don’t know yet, but this will also be something to think about. I’ll arrange something. I have to. We can’t continue like this.” They had ten minutes to compose themselves, before Catie had to leave. Dave held her closely and kissed her as if it were the last kiss they would ever share. In their embrace, Catie could feel Dave’s hardness, even though he appeared in control. It would take more than a few minutes for his tumescence to subside. Catie’s state reciprocated Dave’s one hundred per cent. Her heart felt as if it was physically tearing into shreds. How could she go away and leave this man for a month when leaving him at the end of the day was difficult enough? Dave voiced what they were both feeling. “I don’t know how I am going to make it through this time, he began, steadily enough, but as he continued, his voice dropped a few notes, “I have never felt anything as powerful as this in my entire life. I will not voice what I want to now, that too will be kept for when you return and we can give free reign to our feelings. But know this, there will not be a minute while you are away, that I will not be missing you and waiting for your return.” Catie’s eyes teared up, and in surprise, she saw this mirrored in Dave’s. They clutched each other tightly, desperately, shared a last desolate, emotion filled kiss, then slowly disentangling herself from Dave’s arms, she shakily moved around him. “I must go,’ she said. “I don’t want to cause anything to create tension at home. We have a long journey ahead of us, and I would prefer it be undertaken in an amicable mood, and that nothing mar this trip for Bryan.” Dave unwillingly let her go, following a discreet step behind her, while rearranging his clothing. As they approached their cars, he told her to go, before the little bit of control he still had deserted him, and they remained just where they were. When she turned to greet him, his face was bleak, and he held himself a few steps away from her. “Please go,” he said again, “I don’t trust myself now. I can’t tell you to have a wonderful time, I’m too selfish for that. All I ask is don't let me leave your thoughts totally. Think of me sometimes, as I will be doing of you.” Catie’s mouth fell open in disbelief. “Do you really think you need to ask me that? I thought you understood that I didn’t undertake this situation we find ourselves in, lightly. It means a so much more to me than you seem to realise, but we can discuss this when I come back. Bi Dave.” and pressing a kiss on her hand to his cheek, she jumped in her car and pulled away while she still had the willpower to do so.
