Are the Campisis Dirty? Frankie didn’t necessarily want the Campisis to be dirty, but he wanted McDermott not to be dirty. He didn’t really care who the guilty party was. The trouble now, was Mrozinski thought Paul Campisi was guilty and Frankie didn’t. Frankie had despised Bobby Campisi. He was sorry he was dead—sort of—but that didn’t have anything to do with his feelings. Nor did it have anything to do with the fact that he didn’t think any more of the rest of the Campisis than he had of Bobby. As far as Frankie was concerned, they were all filth.
