SELENE's POV

At the Hospital

I am Selene Dela Cruz, 29 years old and I am a nurse here in FORTALEZA's Hospital. I have been here for so long but I haven't seen the owner of this hospital.

But they said that the owner of this hospital would come here when they have time.

I was arrived at the hospital I went straight to my seat and I prepared what I should use. I only go to the patients that who should be taking their medicine at this time and it's not that hard for them to take the medicine that's why I'm so happy to go back to my seat after my ward rounds.

I was sitting on my chair when the boy came in front of me and I looked at him with a smile on my face.

"Nurse, can I take your time first? Can I talked to you for a while?" he said.

"Of course Sir, what can I do for you sir?" I said while smiling at him.

"Can you please, go to room 126 cause I don't know how to feed my little sister." he said while scratching his neck.

"Oh! He did not know how to feed his sister?" I secretly smilling and I nodded at him.

"Ok sir, I will go to room 126 right away. I said and he go first in the room.

When I opened the door I saw a little girl sitting in her bed and she was looking at her food. And I saw her brother was sitting beside her.

I smiled to them and I went to the other side of the bed but her brother said that I will sit in the other side so that i go there, he wants me to sit beside to his sister where he was sitting earlier.

By the way little girl I am nurse Selene. my first introduction to them and I looked at the girl and talk to her.

Hi little girl, your brother said? You didn't eat your food? I said.

I don't like the food sister. she said while pouting her lips.

Actually this girl is so cute and I want to pinched her in the cheek.

But if you're not eating your food you will stay here at the hospital? Do you like that? I said to her while smiling, and she immediately shook her head.

By the way, what is your name little girl. I said.

I'm Kelly Madrigal.

Wow nice name little girl.

So Kelly if you want to recover quickly so you need to eat your food and drink your medicine, Okay?" Kelly nodded at me and she opened her mouth and I feed her. I didn't go out to her room as long as she's not taking her medicine.

After she ate and drink her medicine I said goodbye to them and i left in the room.

But I was walking in the hallway when I heard the boy is calling my name so that I looked at him.

Nurse Selene thanks. he said.

You're welcome. I said.

Hmmm.. I haven't introduce myself to you, I'm Kevin Madrigal. Sorry for this day. Honestly I'm not really the one who's watching over her and my mom called me for taking care of Kelly first. Besides, I really don't know how to feed a child. he said.

I smiled at him so that, he was so embarrassed.

That's Okay, Sir Kevin. I said.

Don't call me Sir Kevin, Just call me Kevin. he said immediately and I nodded to him.

After we talked I say goodbye to Kevin and went back to my seat.

I was looking at my wrist watch it's already 10:40pm and I'm about to go home later. I put my all things on my bag and I'm waiting for the time to come out.

When the time has come I said goodbye to everyone and go home.

I arrived to our house.. I ate first and then Wash my body and after that is going to sleep.

IN THE MORNING

I woke up because of my alarm clock that's why I got up on my bed and go to the CR to clean up myself. But today is not my work time, I just wanted to visit my family in the cemetery. I was the only one here in our house right now, my family died 2 year ago because of the car accident while in their way home from the Lu's Family home. That day, I was taking my nursing exam when someone called on my phone..

When I was taking my nursing exam in the school I feel that my phone was vibrating on my pocket

That time my teacher did not get our phone and I answered it.

Hello who's this? I said. I was speaking in weak voice so that my teacher will not hear me..

I am Doctor Huang from FORTALEZA's Hospital, are you Selene Dela Cruz?" He said

Yes Doctor Huang.

I just wanted to tell you the bad news that your mom and your dad passed away cause of the car accident.

When I heard that news I stood up and run away outside while crying, I heard that my teacher and my classmates was calling at me but I ignored them. I went outside and quickly get a Taxi.

I was so very nervous that day. When I arrived at the hospital, all I did was crying and crying there, I was telling myself that I am alone now. I need to be strong and take care of myself.

When the doctor saw my situation they calm me down and talk to me about my parents.

And Doctor Huang give me the envelope, I opened it quickly and read it.

Dear Selene My love

We apologize for what we did to you and to your family. Selene, if you read this letter your dad and I are not in your side now. I am always holding this letter. So that you can read it if we're not here now in this world.

Selene even if we are not related to you and we just stole you from your real family. I considered you as my own daughter. I know that your real parents is looking for you but we can't give you because I don't want to. I didn't want to lose you that's why I was being selfish. I was your nanny when you're a baby.

And you see a necklace their in the envelope that's yours.

Your real parents gave that to you when you're a little. Please, wear that always so that if they see you, they will know you. I know and for sure they'll looking for you right now because they will not give up until they see you dead or alive. Again I'm really sorry and I love you Selene.

I was holding the necklace and wear it on my neck . I was looking myself in the mirror and left to our house.

When I remembered the past I'm always being sad so that I'll go to cemetery today.

AT THE CEMETERY

I was walking to their tomb while holding the two flowers. When I saw them I was smiling and put the flowers on the floor.

I was praying and talking to them a little bit and left quickly cause I have a work in the afternoon and also clean our house.

I was here now in our house and to the cleaning. So that if I'm here later after my work I will rest peacefully at my room.

After I cleaned the house I eat first so that I can't eat later in the hospital

After I ate I go to my room and do my daily routine and prepared to go to the hospital and walk again to go their in the bus terminal.

I already prepared myself and I left again to our house for work..

While I was walking down on the side road and I noticed someone is looking at me. I looked around but I can't see anyone. So I said this to myself that I was imagining something.

I walked to fast so that I will not be late but I stopped on stepping because someone hold my shoulder.

I was suddenly nervous and I looked at him but I can't see his face cause he was wearing a mask.

I just wanted to talked to him but he quickly turned me around and he put the handkerchief on my mouth. I can't shout to call for a help.

I struggled but I can't cause he is too strong.

So in my excessive struggling I was feeling dizzy and I lost my consciousness.
