Aria’s POV.
It was supposed to be a normal day. Nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary.
By the time I reached the hockey arena with Drew, Walker, and Sam, the place was already packed. The crowd was loud, excited, everyone waiting for the inter-pack match to start. Cassian’s team was going up against the Silvermark Pack, one of the toughest teams around. Their Alpha, Kael Arden, had been the talk of every social feed for days. Young. Ruthless. Undefeated.
The noise hit the roof when the Silvermark players walked out. Girls were losing their minds. Some stood on the seats, waving signs, shouting his name like he was a rockstar. “Kael! Over here!” one screamed. Another grabbed her friend’s hand, laughing. “He’s even hotter in person!”
I sat still, pretending not to hear any of it.
