The walk back to the Pack House felt like it was taking a lifetime. The time was dragging on and on, which was letting my mind run wild. There was nothing to distract me. My mind was jumping from thinking about Blake dying, to the overwhelming responsibilities of becoming the Alpha, to wondering if Jasmine really had anything to do with what happened to Blake, despite even my wolf now thinking that there wasn't anyway that she could have administered the posion, at the very least she couldn't have today.
