Mrs. Lin guided me down the stairs, chattering on about how she'll miss Alpha Gregory, but that she's excited to see how I'll rule over the Pack since I seem so kind. The compliments are making me feel light and airy. I didn't think that anyone would be so happy that I was Alpha as she seemed to be. When we get downstairs, I noticed that no one is there.
"Where is everyone?" I asked, suddenly on edge. Something didn't feel quite right.
