Chapter Ninety

1108 Words

"Hello Mr. Fields, everyone," I said, looking around at the drunken wolves, who all seemed stunned to see their Alpha there. "Mr. Fields, would you mind repeating what you were saying earlier?" He looked wild; his eyes stretched wide over his face, with his mouth open agape like a fish's. "I'm not sure what you mean, Alpha Charlie." I arched an eyebrow, walking over to him, standing over him where he was still crouched on the ground. "I was told that you were saying some choice things about me, and I'm curious to know what exactly those things were." He looked startled, and afraid. Blake stepped in, taking my arm and turning me slightly away from a terrified Vance. "I think that we should just leave and go home, yeah?" "Why?" I asked with a frown, sliding my arm away from Blake's grip.
