Chapter Eighty Nine

After finding a housemaid who was still tidying up to help me clean up the living room, I trudged back up to my room. Blake was asleep, and while I did want to wake him up, I just changed clothes and crawled into bed beside him. He was snoring lightly, but it was a comforting sound that helped me fall asleep quickly. I only had time to sleep for about five hours, so I wanted to get every minute of that that I could. In a half-awake state, I felt the bed dip as Blake got up, but I assumed that he was getting up to go to the bathroom, or maybe get something to eat.
