A sunny spring day
One morning she woke up, in the cozy royal bed, at her parents apartment. Outside it was a sunny day, in the middle of spring. Washed her face, arranged the kitchen and made breakfast for her family, said hello to the lazy cats lying on their mattresses and pillows, threw away the banana peels, so they couldn't slip on the floor or slide and have a smooth party when the owners are not home. After getting her sweet coffee with milk, she started browsing on the laptop, to see what's new or who's new. After a while she got a message, from someone with blurry picture, on winter background, in the night time. She never saw him before, because he was working in a different town, but he was actually a nearby neighbor.
He started writing to Jenny Thatcher at 12 o'clock and asked her if she could help him translate something for work as soon as possible. He was very polite. Then he asked her number, to call her as soon as they both had free time. His name was David Brian McKay, he was dark blonde, handsome and so young. He looked 30 years almost. They finally agreed to meet near a park, not far away from her location.
She arrived near the park, and then a guy on motorcycle stopped near her. He took off his helmet. She thought he was the guy she was waiting for, but he wasn't blonde. Then she asked the guy something and realized he wasn't the one she had to meet. Jenny was in a bit shock that Brian couldn't come. Wandering on the sidewalk, in the shade, in the sun, watching a few people passing by... Then after a few minutes, she saw Brian, very tall and handsome going towards the park. He turned his head to look at Jenny. Then she went fast to tell him, "I was the one you were talking to!" almost like she was afraid she's miss a chance to be near him.
"Hello. Nice to meet you!" he said.
"What's your name? O.k. that I know... he he. I was joking."
"How are you Brian?"
"I'm fine, thank you. Let's go to the park to talk."
They walked on and found a bench in the park. Suddenly they stopped and started chatting, about work and different things... then about life, relationships. He was looking at her with his beautiful green eyes, so captivating, piercing her soul. One look and he was struck by Cupid (he knew or he thought so). She was surprised of how handsome he was looking, and why he was paying so much attention to her like nobody else. The rest of the dates were not so interested in her like he was. They were elusive, evasive, greedy or ugly and mean.
She asked him if he wants to get a pizza. They went to a pizza shop and got a few slices of mushroom and ham pizza with delicious cheese. He was too polite to take the slice of pizza. She insisted, but he still didn't want to eat the pizza. "Eat the pizza! Eat me... the pizza slice is talking to you. Over here mister!"
After a while, they went back to his place, to watch movies or hang out. He tried to get near her. She was so shy and backed away. He found an action movie, but she wanted a romantic comedy.
