"What do you want to talk about" I asked as Lane kept his gaze on Alpha Abel as he walked away, I didn't like the look in his eyes but I didn't say anything as i tried to gain is attention, "Lane, I'm over here"
"Oh, sorry, I apologize for zoning out. That was rude of me," Lane said as he turned his gaze back to me, "What were you saying?"
"I said what you wanted to talk about?" I asked as a smile formed on his face, giving me his full attention
"Oh! I just wanted to check up on you and ask how you're coping with this new pack?" Lane asked
