Overwhelmed by their generosity, I nodded appreciatively. "Thank you, Alpha Carmen and Abel. I'm really grateful"
Alpha Abel spoke, a reassuring tone in his voice. "In our pack, we look out for each other. You're not alone anymore, Adriana."
"I know," I said as a huge smile formed on my lips
"I have to leave now, but I will leave you in Alpha Abel's hands," Alpha Carmen said as he walked away, but as he got to the trees he turned back, "the party starts at eight, if Abel is still with you he can bring you over"
"Okay I won't miss it" I said as we both watched Alpha Carmen disappear into the trees
"So since you're keeping me company till the party starts, what do you want to do?" I asked as an amused expression formed on Alpha Abel's face
