Stranded

It was August 18th 2021 Rose went to get her hair done like she ever wanted so she went to a place her aunt recommended. It was about 11:30 in the morning when Rose was ready to get Caramel Blonde highlights because she needed a change in herself. So what better way than to start something easy. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon when Rose's hair was done. It was phenomenal. He was amazed by the results. It looked so good. Then she went to her best friend's house until Carter texted back telling Rose when to come over. Rose didn’t wanna go home so she brought her and Teddy to get some ice cream. After that she brought Teddy home and went to her house. She waited on her phone in her car with ac blowing and music blaring, went on f*******: and saw a notification from messenger. So out of curiosity she looked at it and the message made her jaw drop and with a surprising look on her face it was her ex. The one she still loved in her other book tried texting her the thing she hadn't heard from Chase in weeks. She let it slide, she opened it and didn’t know what to say. Rose tried to resist texting him back but she couldn’t help it so she ended up replying. Then she exited out of it her head all over the place she thought something was wrong with Chase. Since he texted her and called her and sent a sad emoji so it freaked her out. She of course texted Carter about what happened since she wasn’t going to hide it from him. Then later that day she sees her boyfriend Carter because they haven’t seen each other in awhile. It was the day where neither one of them were busy. Once Rose got to Charters house they watched a movie in his room after they spent 20minutes deciding what to watch. So they walked into his room with the window opened and it almost sounded like it was windy but it was just the window. Before they put the movie in Carter had to figure out how to use his remote so once Rose was done laughing at him she decided to actually help. She showed Carter how to use it while still making fun of him because it’s a remote. What's confusing about it? Carter said understanding what the buttons were for Rose of course laughing at him while Carter laughing was more of a laugh and genuine. So they were sitting there awkwardly because they are both shy people while they where talking about how many knives Carter had. He had like 9 they were all different. Rose was concerned about how many knives he had. But Carter claimed it was for protection so Rose shrugged her shoulders. Carter pointed out while laughing that The whole 30minutes they weren’t paying attention. Of course they had to laugh about it some more than Carter said seriously but in a pleasing way to watch it. So Rose agreed and they restarted it. But Carter didn’t know how to use the remotes so Rose went next to him over his shoulder and showed him what button to use. That’s when they looked at there phones one more time and turned it off for the night so they could spend time together and not their phones. Then it was like 3 almost 4 when Carter pulled Rose in to cuddle. She enjoyed it. He smelt like cologne. It was strong but not too strong where Rose hated it. She smiled and looked at him and continued to watch the movie. Few hours flew by while we just enjoyed each other's company and being in each other’s arms. So the whole time they just laid there and cuddled each other till about 6. That’s when his mom told us it was dinner so we paused the movie once Carter knew which button it was. They went to the kitchen where we were having burgers with mashed potatoes and some vegetables. So Carter grabbed a plate for Rose and awkwardly and shyly filled her plate. Carter made sure to give Rose another water since Rose didn’t have any that day. It was a frozen cup and it was like the water was warm but had ice in it. So as Carter and Rose were eating the burgers were so good it was juicy. After they finished eating Carter politely took Rose plate and threw it away as if it was paper plates. Then they just went back to the room to finish the movie. It was an hour later when the movie ended, Rose still had time to talk with Carter and they answered everyone back. She clicked out of her Snapchat after replying to a whole of people. Then went to f*******: to see if Chase replied because she couldn’t help but be curious. Sure or not it was another notification once again from Carter. He was upset about something right next to her boyfriend sitting right in front of her with their heads almost touching each other. That’s when she got the message of three messes that changed everything and she didn’t know to feel relieved or in a way not caring. Chase said he missed Rose and wanted to talk. She showed her boyfriend because who wouldn’t. Carter was her best friend she gossiped with. He knew how it ended and how Rose felt about him after thinking of a response she stood there staring at her phone then her boyfriend anxiously. She didn’t know how to respond to this message also she was right there with her boyfriend. Rose acted like she didn’t care but deep down she knew she did and missed him too. But how will this go for her and Carter are they gonna break up with each other. Rose texted Chase that he needed to text her on messages so she responded quickly since they weren’t on don’t disturb. That’s when her phone turned on she wasn’t on it since she was talking to Carter about this and what she should do. So they talked for a few minutes and Chase wanted to see Rose. She looked at her boyfriend if that was okay. Since she didn’t wanna lose him because he was a good one. Carter didn’t care and agreed Rose put her phone down and talked to Carter about what just happened and the movie. They were laughing about something Rose couldn’t focus on since Chase texted her all that. Her mind was wondering because she really liked Carter but loved Chase so she was so confused and didn’t know how to act or how to react.
