Edith POV The day went well. Blake and I went to a restaurant and had fun the entire day. I was anticipated for the night, but unfortunately, Blake told me he had to leave to attend some higher engagements. He was a busy man. Even after being the boss, he still managed to spend most of his times with me. I could not be in love with him. We were not meant to be. He deserved better than me. I had to leave and take care of my parents. I had to work for them and provide them. If I stay with Blake, he would pay for us but never in any life would I let that happen.
