A GOD VS AN EVIL WITCH

A God of thunder the people of my land call him. He has been worshipped by them for centuries, and in those centuries he chose some people he could use as a medium to speak to others. They say his main color is red which is placed all over the shrine, where he is worshipped and whoever visits the place especially those who claim to be called by him through dreams, signs and visions place a bulb to a free lamp holder in the shrine since they are always in plenty, for he is also considered the Lord of electricity. To those people who were bewitched they called him the god of war, for he is believed to have a spiritual army to fight off evil, likewise his mediums had power to cure one from witchcraft done by evil witches and evil people who acquired there evil medicine. The god did not want any blood sacrifice or acts of intimacy in his shrine so those were a taboo in that place,that meant he only recommends herbs to be used. Indeed people got cured as long as it was caused by evil witches and evil people. Just as humans, the God of thunder had a family where he came from with siblings, cousins and had a lot of nieces and nephews. As a god considered masculine he is believed to have a wife and children who also assisted him to fight off evil and save the earth from all the worst that could happen. For those who got to see him in their dreams and visions they say he looks like a normal man who is very light skinned,extremely tall,with long blonde hair and held a hammer in his arms and at times a sharp spear. Its believed he used this spear to inflict pain spiritually on the evil people and witches. His mediums were at times met to wear gold bangles until when he told them to stop through dreams. But not all the mediums cured people some just foretold what was to happen to the world or to certain group of people. The compulsory of the mediums was to smoke tobacco at a specific time he told them and it was mainly adults who were encouraged to do it. Speaking of this god does not mean he is the only one worshipped but he was believed to be the strongest of the gods though also believed that other gods helped him during difficult spiritual battles.
