Anya   Quietly, she sat outside on Jack’s patio, sipping coffee. Not really. They stopped letting her drink so much coffee. Instead, Jack made her tea. Apparently, even with a slight brush with death, almost losing a baby, and escaping a burning building…one still can’t live off of excessive amounts of coffee for survival.   She took a sip of the hot liquid, and poured it out over the railing.   Jack chuckled behind her. “You could have asked for something else.”   “I did,” she scowled, “none of you will let me have it.”   He snorted and took a seat beside her.
