Zack led him into Carter’s room, where—as he could have guessed—the girls were doting on Carter. He laid up in bed while Zuri had been forcing him to eat something and Ayanne sat in bed beside him playing a video game with him.
He’s acting like a f*****g princess.
“Ahem,” Zack cleared his throat and three pairs of eyes snapped up to the both of them in the door. “We came to see how you were doing.”
Carter tossed the controller down, and folded his hands in his lap. The girls each got up and excused themselves for a minute. One claiming she needed to use the bathroom while the other just stared at Brandon mumbling something about checking on something in the oven.
