Kapitulo 6

Kapitulo 6 I thought that I would never be selected. Up until now, I was still fanning myself with my hand. The girls are busy fixing their make-up while I am thinking about my cousin. Why on earth did he get to the place when he's not used to it? God, Sheram, you're putting your life in risk. I sighed, taking the phone in my hand while the image of Cyrex biting his lower lip made me chill. I shook my head and dialed his number. I was hoping he would answer because I was so close to panicking. I'm not nervous about this pageant, I'm nervous about him. "What?" he scorned. "How are you?" I settled down in the chair, fixing my hair with my hand. "Did you take the pill that uncle gave you?" "Ghad, yes. Bakit ka ba tumawag?" he asked violently. "Sheram, I know you're mad at me, but can't you blame me? I don't want you to get sick." I heard him sigh. This fella will never listen to me. He needs someone to correct him. "I'm sorry." His voice became low. "I'm just stressed." I breathed. "I'll cuddle you when I come back. My baby boy is in pain, isn't he?" "Christ! Shut up!" he yelled due to alarm. I giggled. "Okay, okay. But don't forget to take your pill." He cussed. "Yeah. I love you." I smiled. "I love you more. What do you want to eat, then?" "Just burgers," he replied. Burgers? That means many. "How many?" "Forty." My jaw dropped. "Goodness, Sheram. Can't you eat slow?" "I'm getting fat, don't I?" he asked, laughing at his own jokes. "That's why no one wants to date me." I pity this man. "Don't say that. We love you, everyone loves you," he cuts me off. "Whatever. Burgers ko, ha," he assured me, and I sighed. "Yeah, yeah. Okay bye," I said and hung up the call. I looked at the girls and they were busy brushing their hair. I saw Miss Pangasinan looking perplexed about something and I wanted to talk to her, but I chose not to. "You're killing me." I was almost startled when someone whispered in my ear. I tried to turn around, but he seized my head. He was breathing in my neck, tucking my hair, and gently putting his lips on my nape. I breathed. "Cyrex, stop it..." I moaned quietly as he continued pressing his lips there. "Cyrex... stop it. I don't want them see us like this." He gently bit my nape. I breathed. "Ano naman?" He rested his chin on my shoulder. "We're dating, and that is considered intimate." I shook my head. "No, you don't understand me. We can't do this. " He seized my hair with his hand. "'Pag sinabi kong wala akong paki sa kanila, wala akong paki. You. Are. Mine." He kept saying that. When the girls came back to their vicinity, I turned round and got the satin fabric and covered him. He's about to mumble when I put my hand on his mouth, his smooth, tender lips. "I can't breath," he murmured and I seized his mouth even more. Miss Bacolod came into view. She smiled at me, gritty as if she was close to me. But I could see the feinting. "Fereine, una na kami, a." Miss Ilo-Ilo smiled at me sincerely, and I nodded. When they were all out. I tucked the fabric away and stared at his eyes. Those grey eyes are staring at me with a hint of need. His lips pressed together as he clung to it. "Can I grab a kiss?" he asked politely. I breathed. "Cyrex, we can't do this anymore. Yes, we've dated, but I can't give satisfaction again... " He pressed his lips on my neck. "Fereine, my love. I can give you the spot if you want to. I am the major sponsor of this event, in case you don't know." I shook my head. "No, please... don't do that." He sighed. "What do you want, then? A crown? An island? A cruise ship? Name any, darling. I'll give you everything." I shook my head in disbelief. "I don't need your money. Keep that to yourself." He kissed my chin. "Why can't you just obey me, huh? I don't like girls who don't follow my orders. " "Then avoid me. That's simple!" I snarled and he chuckled. "Kidding. I like you more than anybody, anything, anymore." He continued kissing my neck until I turned around and grabbed his neck. "Woah! Easy, darling. We have to go slow..." "Slow down, your ass!" I kissed him torridly, and he replied to my kisses as he deepened the kiss. "If you think you're a beast, then so am I. I'm a hound." He smirked. "I really love this gesture. Always love this gesture..." "Hmm..." I mumbled while deepening our kiss as he lifted me and put me on his lap. "We have to make this fast." "Fast is not in my vocabulary," he snickered, and bit my lower lip. "Slow is." I rolled my eyes. If you think I would allow you to lap my sum, then you're wrong, Cyrex. I assure you that after this, you will beg for one more hot kiss. I pulled myself off him. He looked at me, confused, why I ended the kiss. I pressed his lips with my thumb as I kissed his ear in slow, delicate motion. "Woah! W-well, this is new." He shrugged and looked at me. "This is what you want, isn't it?" I asked sarcastically. He sighed, nodding. "Of course, I would do everything for you, darling." I studied his lips. I rubbed his face with my hand, pressing the shade of his brows and leaned forward to level my nose with his eyes. He stared at me, amused. I would do this because this would be the end. I have to get rid of him. As soon as possible. I leaned against his lips. "Aren't these lips your asset?" He licked his lips. "I love this. I want to suck you. Hard. " I smirked, pressing his lips. "Cyrex, darling. We have to go slow." His lips gaped. I am forcing myself not to laugh. I don't want him to get mad at me or anything. This beast will never be as gentle as he can be. He will stay, whatever he is. I shook the thoughts in my brain. You're judging again, Fereine. It's not healthy. He puts his hands on his back, staring at me with a smirk. "No need to slow. I am fond of fast responses now. " Gosh, I have to do something. This is not good. He was the owner and the major sponsor of this arena, yet I was talking to him like we were friends. He leaned closer to me until he leveled his lips on my chin and nipped my neck. "Cyrex, I have to go..." I murmured. He continued doing it while I was rolling my eyes in annoyance. "Darling, why can't you just go with me and live a better life?" I was stunned by that question. Why was he here, by the way? To annoy me? Or to do such things that would tingle my bones? I hate that word. "I have a dream and I have to make it," I replied, and he stared at me seriously. He exhaled. "Your dream was too nigh to happen. Let me tell you the unworthy. " I shook my head. "Cyrex, this is my dream. I have to pursue this. Can you support me even when I'm not with your side?" "Of course," he retorted, and I sighed again. "I would never date a woman but you. Only you. That's why I want to help you achieve your dream. Let me..." I look at him. If he was just serious about it, I would have grabbed the opportunity, but I know he was just kidding. I brushed his face with my hand and he looked at me more serious now, brows furrowing and his lips clipped in a line. "No, you can't help me—" he cuts me off. "I can." He pushed one of his hands into my hair. "And I will." I inhale. "What if I won the pageant and will be representing my country. What would you feel if someone offered me to be his date?" He frowned, sighing. "It's not that big of a deal as long as he wouldn't touch you." "What if he would?" I asked again. His eyes became dark. "Then I would fly over there and grab you. That's simple." I just shook my head in amusement. What on earth did this man gave me? My entire sum felt as if it had been hit by a cold, foreign breeze. "You can't do that. Assuming that I was the Miss Universe," I teased him. He looked at me, annoyed. "Bakit ba ang dami mong tanong? When someone is trying to talk to you, then it's okay with me. But if he touches you, I can't promise if he can see the dawn. " A literal beast. I breathed. "Put me down. I have to go back to the stage." "Just give me more seconds to be with you. Just for this." He cuddled my waist and I brushed his hair. I admit it. He was really pursuing me. A self-motivated man. I can even tell that he wasn't lying all the time. His eyes were sincere, like they always give you the chills you haven't experienced before. After a few seconds. "Put me down. I have to go back there." He nodded, wincing. "Minsan na nga lang ako nakapaglambing sa 'yo. Pinagdadamot mo pa. " "It's not pagdadamot. And besides, we're over. We're not dating anymore," I said as he rubbed my waist. "Whatever you're saying. I'm still your date. Your reasoning was skeptical. It's not solid, so why would I give in, huh? You haven't had any strong explanation for breaking up with me," he said with a smirk. "Was it needed?" I asked sarcastically, and he nodded. "Fine. We're over. Is that enough? Oh, wait. I think something is missing. I'm breaking up with you. Is that what you want to hear? " He smirked. "Bluffs. You're not even sincere, though. Galingan mo namang magsinungaling. So, bland really. Even Dazron wouldn't believe it." Dazron. I remember the day when we were together, his brother came into view and viola! He gave us the most annoying day that he could have given. We were reacting to every strategy he would do to make his brother annoyed. "I have to go back," I said firmly, and he nodded. "I'll be watching you, sweetie." He taunted, and I rolled my eyes. As I was about to walk, my scarf stumbled on the floor. I was only wearing my bikini for the swimsuit competition. He took the scarf and gave it to me while I leaned over and gave him a peck on the cheek. I shook my head in annoyance, and left the room. I was murmuring until I reached the stage. Miss Pangasinan is very ready to go on the stage again. I have an intuition that she will win the crown tonight. Definitely, she is. She's really deserving. "Ladies, Miss General Santos at sundown, Miss Pangasinan, and followed by Miss..." The man was searching for me until he found me. "'Andiyan ka lang pala. So Miss Makati is next and etcetera. " We nodded. He walked off the area and we waited for the commercial to bounce off so we could do our stance. When the host returned, he announced the top ten semi-finalists again. "Ladies and gentlemen, your top ten for their swimsuit competition," he announced and I was thrilled. Miss General Santos walked onto the stage while I was waiting for my turn. And then Miss Pangasinan with her fire walk that I always admire. and then called me. "Makati." "Ya dimelo antes. Ya si quieres dinero, lo siento no tengo." I strided more delicately as the sound started to beep. And my supporters were yelling at my name. Damn! They're so many now. "She playing hella hard. Playing for pesos." I pose in front of the stage. Cyrex gazed at me while tilting his head to one side, as if he was calculating every ounce of my body. I smiled at them and when another name had been called, I turned with a flip of my heels and they were all shouting even louder. I have learned it since then. But when I was so close to the exit, I tripped and everyone was shocked. I don't even know what's happening. Why did I trip and who the hell put oil on the floor? I managed to stand up, but someone helped me, and as I looked at him, he smiled at me. To the person who's behind this, I forgave her because she proved that she was not on my level. "Are you okay?" he asked, and I nodded. When we reached the room, he left and I walked into my room. I look at the mirror. Why everyone hates me? I look at my eyes. No, you can't cry. It's useless. It's like you're punching the water, yet it never replies. I shook my hands. And then the door opened ajar. I breathed.
