Winifred's POV
It was unbelievable to me that my professor was the man I had kissed for the first time. It seemed as though the arena was suddenly too small.
Professor Buzor was a very attractive and well-built man. I followed my gaze from his stunning grey eyes to his amazing six-pack abs. He had broad arms, and I could see little veins starting to show up around his biceps.
His hair was dark and curly, almost scruffy, and it framed his broad, masculine features. Sweat was trickling down the side of his face, beading on his forehead, and running down his torso from his chest.
As soon as he approached me, my cheeks started to flush.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" He met my gaze and raised his eyebrows in question.
"I apologise; I just moved to this class," I tell him, presenting him with my printed schedule. "My name is Lil."An He glanced at the schedule for a moment, and then he turned back at me, our eyes meeting in quiet as he did so.
"You are welcome to join the other students," he added, averting my gaze.
I looked around at the others, still battling as wolves, and my eyes grew wide. I ingested the lump that had developed in my throat.
"In reality, Acan not move," he says hastily before he can get up to leave.
For an instant, he froze, and I thought I heard a deep growl coming from the pit of his throat.
"What?" In a slightly irritated tone, he questioned. He became blind. Library added! Grey eyes had turned dark and menacing. Do you imply that you are unable to shift?
I inform him while tightly biting my lip, "I mean... I have not received my wolf yet."
He looked down at my mouth, watching me nervously nibble my lower lip. Heat was surging through my features. I believed he would be able to hear my heart thumping against my chest so loudly and rapidly.
"If you are unable to shift, why are you in a combat and shifting class?"
"I am skilled in battle," I respond. "I am not less capable just because I do not have a wolf. I have spent my entire life honing my craft. Come see what I can do for you."
His tone was quite irritated as he mumbled, "I do not have time to babysit." "In addition," he said. "I am not able to find you a companion. Every one of my pupils battles in the wolf form."
"She-wolf, I can train with her," she remarked as she transformed back into a human.
Her hair was dark and short, and her face was pleasant. Her lashes were lengthy and her eyes were large and brown. She was grinning sweetly and giving me a kind look.
"It is okay, she repeated, averting her gaze from me to gaze at Professor Buzor.
"All right," he replied.
He said nothing more as he turned to go.
"Holding out her hand for me to shake, she said, "I am Becca." J grabbed it and smiled back.
I reply, "It is good to meet you." "My name is Winifred."
"Oh, I am sure of who you are; trust me." I have heard that you are among this school's greatest righters as well. It would have been foolish of me, Professor, to turn you away."
It was my first year at this school, so I guess I should not be shocked that things move quickly. I could not help but giggle at what she said. We were not in Elysium, but I am well-known there for my martial skills and cunning thinking.M We were in the city of Hyderabad. The biggest metropolis outside of Elysium. "Thank you for your nice remarks," I reply, and I truly mean it. She started to say something else, but stopped as we heard a different, more recognisable voice.
"Alright, who is that?" Jane sneered. "Coming to play with the big dogs, if it is not the tiny slut?"
I raised an eyebrow; did she think I was a slut? following my recent discovery of her flirting with my boyfriend? She looked over her shoulder at Professor Buzor, who was staring at us with a scowl deepening and a furrow forming between his brows, and continued, "Though I should not be surprised," her tone rising icily. It makes sense that you would move to Professor Buzor's class given how much you appreciate him. "appreciate everyone else, I am here to practise my combat skills."
She laughed at this.
"Please, you are merely practicing your lip-synch talents." Becca corrected her, saying, "She is actually a highly capable fighter."
Jane scoffed, making Becca wince. "That is rich coming from a lowly Omega." "This school should not even permit your kind to attend."
Her statements appeared to have upset Becca deeply.
Another girl stepped beside Jane and asked, "Ew, why are you even talking to that Omega?"
The two girls giggled, and I noticed that Becca's face flushed as she lowered her head.
"Jane agreed that avocados are nothing but rubbish. "It is understandable why your partner preferred my lips over yours, but what is worse than an Omega is someone who can not even shirt into their wolf."
I moved ahead of Bacca to keep her hidden from the other wolveg.
"What gives you the authority to determine whether or not Ah Omega is capable? I chance to witness her battle a few seconds earlier, and I thought she was extremely capable. I believe the reason we attend this school is to acquire knowledge. "So, let us avoid creating problems for each other," I remarked while glancing at their faces. "What about my boyfriend?" I ask, looking directly into Jane's eyes. It is obvious that he lacks the manhood to deal with me. That means you have him all to yourself."
I take Becca by the wrist and, without another word, drag her with me, out of the ring and away from the cruel she-wolves.
As we passed, I got a second look at Professor Buzor, and I thought I noticed a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
Once we were some ways apart, Becca murmured softly, "Thank you for standing up for me." But I am used to being teased. Here, omegas are not often well-liked. I raised an eyebrow at her, perplexed.
Why, I questioned.
"Omegas are some of the greatest wolves I have met; they are really sincere and caring. Do not allow such bullies to get you to believe differently." She smiled broadly at me, clearly feeling much better.
"It is clear that not everyone in this room knows you are Alpha Bastien's daughter. Come on, let us get you some attention!"
