Her statement made me grin since it seemed like a great concept. I had to impress them in other ways because I was unable to transform into my wolf form. I turned to face Becca and assumed my most comfortable stance. Before long, we were fighting." She was able to avoid the majority of my blows. But I was restraining a fot. I had no desire to harm her. I easily sidestepped her attacks and prevented her from getting near me. As I performed an acrobatic manoeuvre, I could feel the other students' eyes on me and their mouths opening wide. I am positive that none of them anticipated this. I flipped onto my front, kicking my legs out and narrowly missing Becca on purpose. But it scared her enough that she stumbled back and lost her balance. I swiftly spun a sphere in my hands and performed a somersault and twirl manoeuvre after grabbing it off the weaponry wall. I was really aiming for her feet, but she avoided the initial blow because she thought I was going after her head. She attempted to duck, but instead stumbled and fell to the ground once more. I gently stood on her chest, pinning her to the ground and directing the sphere's point straight at her. Everyone screamed as she gazed up at me, filled with wonder. I nearly forgot there was an audience when I looked around. For a long while, none of them said anything, and then a few of them clapped. At that point, nearly everyone began to applaud. Everyone aside from Jane and her companion. With a satisfied smile, I removed my foot from Becca and assisted her in standing up. "Wow, that was amazing!" She let out a breath and fixed her wide eyes on me. "It was insignificant," I said with a shrug, returning the sphere to its rack. When I turned around, I saw Professor Buzor staring at me with his arms crossed over his chest and a blank expression on his face. J heard beeping coming from across the arena before leould came over to ask him what he thought.* Trealizing that it was everyone's phone, I scowled. I noticed their surprised expressions and heard their gasps as they all went to check their phones. Becca looked at her own phone, a ber palm over her mouth. "What is up, sh?" Glancing over her shoulder, I questioned. My stomach dropped as soon as I realised what everyone was staring at. It showed me kissing Professor Buzor in a photo. Winifred's POVIS "Leave your phones alone, everyone!" The arena echoed with the booming boom of Professor Buzor's voice. I was staring at the photo on Becca's phone and felt like I could not even move. When I looked around the arena, I saw many shocked and inquisitive faces. I had everybody's attention.I Jane and her companion were glaring at me and laughing. "That is one strategy for success." I caught her stuttering. I did not even realise Professor Buzor was getting close to us until he reached for Becca's phone to look at the picture. As he looked at the picture, his jaw twitched. "These awful Photoshop abilities," he exclaimed, shaking his head and returning Becca's handkerchief. "You can plainly make out the outline of my physique. Someone is making a lot of effort to create unfavourable rumours." Everyone averted their gaze from me to examine the photo again. He is right, this is awful photoshop," murmured someone.$ Another person added, shaking their head, "How pathetic: why go to such efforts to disseminate this kind of rumour?" Sarat's facial hair was thinner than a strand of thread, just as her apparent plantvas. The smile that crept at the corner of my mouth was unavoidable. "almost you. The fact that you really planted a kiss I turned away from Professor Feeen as he laughed next to me, lion annh to har Even though I would not have been as lucky, anyone would be lucky to be able to kiss one of the few ladies in the herd. "Are you serious?" He furrowed his brow in question. "Because of his striking good looks?" "That plus the fact that he is a young man—only 23 years old," Becca adds. My eyes grew wide; although he appeared youthful, I did not believe him to be that young. In addition, he is this school's roughest and strongest lecturer. It makes sense given that he is an Alpha. "Is he an Alpha?" I was shocked to ask because I had no notion. Then he must have known my father. While Professor Buzor was busy teaching some students new movements, I could not help but glance back at him. "Yes," Becca replied, "I think he is the Calypso Pack Alpha." The Pack Calypso. My mother was born into that pack; her parents were Calypso Pack members. I recalled from my childhood that Blaise, the strongest shifter in the cosmos, was their previous Alpha. I questioned why Buzor was now their Alpha. I instantly pushed the thought out of my head as class ended. "I am going hungry." As she gathered her belongings, Becca said. "We ought to have lunch." I look over my shoulder at Buzor, who is typing on his phone, and say, "I will be there in a minute." With a severe face, his eyebrow quirked just a little. "I need to discuss things with the professor." "All right," Becca waved at me halfway. "After that, I will see you shortly." She turned around and departed the arena with the others, leaving Professor Buzor and myself by ourselves. "Professor? Isay, taking a step towards him. Narrowing his eyes, he looked up at his phone to see Rae. "I wanted to apologise for the mess I made," he said, murmured, and held up his phone to me."I had the photo removed." I arched my brows in disbelief—that happened so fast. I looked at him, astonished, and a sneer came to his lips. He clarified, "know the individual who runs this site." "He removed it without hesitation.I told him, "Thank you," overcome with a great sense of relief. His voice halted me as I turned to walk away. "I was trying to figure out why you looked so familiar to me, and then I realised who you were when I saw you fighting," the man remarked. Even before I turned to face him, I could feel his eyes on the back of my head and could tell how hard he was staring at me. "You are the daughter of Alpha Bastien." That was not a query. I gave one head nod. Do you recognise my father?" Buzor stated, "He is one of the strongest and toughest Alphas," however it was difficult to discern his expression. "You have trained under him, I can tell," I reply, looking down at the ground almost shyly. "For my entire life," I add. I did not know why, but I felt ashamed all of a sudden. "My mother and father serve as excellent role models for me." He did not respond to that; instead, he simply continued to stare at me for a few period. Eventually, he moved to tidy up his possessions, pausing briefly as he considered what to say. Before he could fully understand what I was saying, I inform him, "I am actually hosting a birthday party this weekend." For a brief moment, his body tightened, and he glanced over his shoulder at me. There will be plenty Alphas present. It is my birthday, so I am throwing a huge party in Heaven. Of course, you are invited. Every Alpha is "" "Is that accurate?" My heart fell out of my chest as I saw him smile again. "Yes," I respond, happy that there was not any strain in my voice. Naturally, you are not required to. But I thought I would extend the invitation. He did not answer, so I figured it was my signal to depart. Feeling embarrassed, I turned away and headed for the exit. "What should I carry with me?" Before I could go, he asked. I stopped, breathing became difficult for me. "Just yourself," I reply, realising right away how ridiculous I sound. Without adding a word, Teft. My mother hugged me tightly and said, "It is unbelievable that my daughter is turning one year old. I grinned as I gave her a hug. After spending a few weeks living at the academy, it was fantastic to be back home. I had to live in a dorm room because Higala Shifter Academy was almost an hour's journey from Elysium. But most weekends, I made an effort to return home. "How are you feeling? Any alterations?" My father questioned, closely examining my appearance. I considered that for a time before responding; usually, one could sense the impending arrival of a wolf.D With a defeated sigh, I shook my head. "Feel the same," is the response. "Perhaps I will not get a wolf," my mother scowled and corrected me. "You will become stronger than ever once you find your wolf." "Your mumI agree, bila bean," my dad added. It is inherited from your DNA. I was being impatient, even though I knew they were correct. I was becoming so crazy over wanting my wolf. My hope was that after I found my wolf, I would be able to identify with my partner and move past Presley's betrayal.
