Chapter SeventeenSix Days After
Stacey was in the office at 6:00 a.m. and Butler twenty minutes later. She checked her notes and made plans for the day and put calls in to people who weren't yet in the office, including Linda Caldwell's attorney, Arthur Johnson. At 8:15 a.m., she and Jeff Butler were reviewing the big board that they had been building along one wall in one of the conference rooms. On the far left, the word “Suspects” was written and underneath were pictures of all of the hostages, all of whom had been suspects initially. Then the lead suspect became Chris Morgan, a former employee with a gun he initially didn't disclose and now there was no one.
