Swallowing the urge to gasp I kiss him back. My heart feels like a firing weapon. I shut my eyes closed, savoring the moment. His breath are heavily on me, and mine starts to become lke a wildfire a well. The more I breath the more I need it. His arms rounds my waist and he pushes me hard against him. I can feel the heat of his body through the fabric of my close and my face errupt intoa frown of wanting more. I push myself even closer, making sure there isn’t space for a even a small wisp of wind. I throw my arms around his neck, kissing harder and with more force. I jerk when I suddenly feel something enetering my mouth. His tongue. His tongue is in my mouth. I take my head away from his and look at him with knitted eyebrows. I swallow seeing him in such a dreamy state but soon his eyes become’s stern again when he reads my face. “We should go.” He says, but he doesn’t make a move away from my body. I lightly touch my lips, it feelig swollen and memorise the kiss that just happened. I just had my first kiss. I look back at him, who looks at me from under his eyesd with a mesmerized look. I fumble with my hands feeling awkward. Idin’t know putting tounge in a persons mouth is part of kissing. Even though it was strange it felt kind off good. But it isn’t supposed to. So I clear my throat and he finally escape from our warm embrace. He looks down and scrathes his neck, seeming unsure of what to do. I sigh and in a few seconds we start to walk again with him a few inches infront of me. “The sun is going down soon, so we need a place to rest for a few hours.” I bite my lips and nod, feeling the tiredness of my body returning when I think about it. Tobias look back, “Are you okay?” He asks with a smirk playing on his lips. Lips that I just kissed. With a small smile I nod unable to say anything. I jerk in fright when I hear a movement next to me and it isn’t Tobias. I clench my teeth and start to walk slower, to be able to listen harder. My eyes catches Tobias who’s pointing at something with a toothy grin his face. I follow his finger to see an animal. Some sort of dear. I gasp when I see a green firy glow around his body. “What is that?” I whisper, feeling as if I’m seeing something that I shou;dn’t. “It’s a fire deer.” Ieyes widen as I look at the deer caustioslt sniffing the ground. It’s beautiful, with the green fire almost seeming glittery. Never in my life have I heard about one and this is the first one I’ve ever seen. MY heart is thundering with excitement. “Do they have powers?” I ask feeling more interested than I ever have. I clasp my hands together, looking at Tobias and waiting for an answer. He shakes his head, staing at the deer also with an expression of bewonderment. “They are very skaars.” That says why I’ve never seen one in my whole life. “The mare’s are green and the mencbah are red.” He continues not taking his eyes off the deer, “Sometimes you get a real orange one which look like real fire.” I smile. Real fire. Deeras who are on fire. This is amazing. It feels like I need to do something to savor this moment even more but I know I can’t. “Can you eat them?” I ask, but soon regret it after it came out of my mouth. Tobias starts to chuckle before it becomes a full blown laugh, “Are you hungry?” He asks in between gasps. I lift my shoudlers, “No, it’s just a question.” But soon realize the hunger that lays in my stomach. “I suppose you can.” He says, also lifting his shoulders. I look at the deer again and make the decision that it’s to beautiful to eat. It seems so magical and powerful. “Do they have powers?” I ask putting my finger under my chin. Tobias smiles at me, with a glint in his eyes. “Watch.” He says. With concentration he lift his hands in the air and with a small spark, a fire errupts right in front of the deer making me gasp. I look at Tobias who doesn’t look worried the way I feel. I bite my lips and look at the the unfazed deer, still eating from the ground. With a few steps it walks into the fire and I want to scream for it to stop. I swallow feeling nervous. I don’t want to see the deer burning to death. I squeese my eyes shut waiting to hear an awful sound but nothing comes. I slowly open my eyes to see the fire vanished and the deer in the exact spot where the fire is. Bewondered I look at Tobias who’s staring at the deer. “How?” I ask, stepping closer to him. “They adapt the fire.” “Wow.”! It feels so surreal. What I just saw. It feels like a story that needs to be in a book, described perfectly, maybe with a few sketches. I tug the urge to write far away nd look at Tobias, wondering what to do next. “You ready?” He asks, putting his lips in a thin like. I sigh and nod. Ready is just what I need tobe I guess and we start to walk. “What’s there more?” I ask, feeling exatic. “What do you mean?” Tobias asks, giving me a quick glance. “Like are there more animals like that?” Tobias bite his lips,as if his thiking deeply, “Yes.” I small yes doesn’t help much so I give him a frown. “What?” “You will have tosee for yourself.” I roll my eyes and look the front of my teeth but rather don’t say anything. My steps crunch on the leaves making me think of food. My hunger is becoming more and more survere and like it was forgotten in my mind, mom pops up. I gasp. The vision of her hanging. “What?” Tobias asks with concern and raised eyebrows. I look at him feeling shock engulf my heart and I need to stop to breath properly. “What Rose?” Tobias walk to me and supports me with his strong hands as I don’t have the strengh to stand. I slowly go down to the ground and put my head in between my knees. It feels like I’m hyperventelating and I can’t stop it. My mind grows black and I’m slowly falling into it, away from reality. I can’t think about it. I can’t. But like it’s a small light that keeps lighting up the darkness, mom’s smile appears. Knowing that she’s gone, it feels better to be in the darkness than in the light. “Rose.” I look at Tobias who’s lightly shaking me. It seems like he’s going to loose it if I don’t tell him what’s going on. Fat tears start to fall for my eyes. I take a deep shaky breath, opening my mouth to speak, but only crying and weep sounds come out. Tobias calmly takes hold of my hands and looks deep into my eyes, making me escape the light and the darkness. His eyes are so green. Goosebumps appear on my skin as we look deep into each other eyes and I’m crying. I wipe my eyes and cheeks with the back of my hand. Without asking me what’s wrong anymore Tobias pulls me into his arms, and whipsers, “It’s okay.” Even though it makes me feel calm and better than I did before I can’t accept that it’s okay, because it isn’t. “No it isn’t!” I yell and yerk myself out of his arms. I glare at him. Everything went haywire when he arrived. Why did he come? Why did he appear and pretend he’s Blake in the first place. Why? Does he some kind of plan and plot that I don’t know of. I look at him, trying to seeright through him and we both give each other death glares. Should I confront him? I swallow all my gathered spit, through the painful lump in my throat. “It’s going to be okay, Rose.” Tobias ensures, pulling himself from the ground and looking down at me. “Is it?” I ask, challengly. I stand and try to face him with mostly the smae height. I fold my arms over my chest, hoping that he’ll understand my need for answerrs. “Everything always works out okay, Rose.” He starts to fidget with his fingers and I make the decision to play vulnerble with him. I continue to cey and look at him with big teary eyes, “My mom is dead and my dad hates me. He could’ve killed me.” I bite my lips, thinking about it. “I know.” He says and looks down. I suck in a sharp breath, trying to find his soft spot. If he feels apologetic about me crying in front of him, he might speak the truth. I need to find the truth eventually. And whatever he’s insisting isn’t true. There is something more. I know it and feel it deep inside of me. “What am I going to do?” “Just move on.” He says, sounding so cruss. I bite my tongue, struggling not to scream at him. “I can’t just move on.” I can. But I don’t want him to know that. “It’s how life works .” He lift he’s shoulders and look infront of him, with pain in his eyes. As if he went through something that he also just had to throw over his shoudlers. There is so many things that I don’t know about him and yet here I am. Alone in the the middle of nowhere with him. I flinch when he kicks a rock, making it land farther than I should have though. He has severe strengh. I frown and let my shoulders fall. Maybe it’s better to know nothing about him. Just not yet. I bite away all myurging questions and start to walk as if nothing just happened. I notice from the side of my eyes, how he’s frowning at me. I bite my lips, ignoring the thought that he probably thinks I’m crazy. Not expecting anything we walk in silence but my mind is speaking louder than a scream, but I try myself to stay calm. I let myself wonder over the trees and the setting sun’s light shining through the green leaves. It’s so beautiful. I lightly smile and widen my eyes when I hear water. “Water.” I whisper and follow the sound. I grin when a crystal clear pond is silently waving at me. My skin suddenly feels the dirt and sweat and I feel the need to go in and clean myself in it. “Canwe rest hear?” I ask. Tobias nods, “A little further away, or it’s going to be to cold.” I nod back at him, ripping the stupid dress from my skin, making Tobias turn. “I still have clothes on.” I say making him turn and quickly glance at me from head to toe. I look at my own white vest and shorts I’m wearing. My white legs or visible and covered in dirt and cuts. I give him a small smile and walk into the pond, the coldness, shocking my skin. I gasp, “It’s cold.” I hear some shuffling behind me, and then see Tobias in the water with me. He’s shirtless, with black shorts. I swallow at his lean but muscular stomach. I try not to stare and as if sening it he splashes me with water in my face. I gasp and splash him back and soo it becomes a splashing war. “Watch out.” He says with panick. I look around me, trying to see what he’s talking about. I clench my teeth, feeling scared. And then I know he wanted my attention away from him, to give me a humagus splash. The water seeps trough my nose and I’m certain that he used powers to do that/ “Very funny.” I say sarcastically in between gasps and coughs. “Just had to.” I says, throwing his hair in the air. I smile at hima and without thinking I swim towards him. He turns and looks at me with a smug face. I bite my lips, before I nervously put it on his and once again I kiss him. I didn’t plan it. I just suddenly felt the urge to kiss him. I take a deep breath through my nose, when he kissed me back, and clamp our bodies toghter. Now that we both are wearing fewer clothes, I feel the closeness I need. I massagehis back with my fingers just as he does mine. His hands lowers until they’r squeesing my butt. I gasp, wanting more. It felt nice. “Hey!” We both turn to the sound of an elegant voice. I bite my lios feeling embarresed tp whoever just saw us. I swallow when I see a beautiful woman with flame red hair and a confused look on her face. “Who are you?” She asks the question specifically at meand I know something is brewing. Something dangerous.
