CHAPTER 54: THE THREE LADY-IN-WAITINGS, ALLIES OR NOT?

1204 Words

In every high-ranking lady in the society, there are always butlers, knights, maids and finally, lady-in-waiting. Lady-in-waiting are the chosen companions and caretakers of the said lady, mistress or any lady that specifically chose them. The numbers aren't really mentioned as a certain quota. It can be one to even five. It is based on the decision made and the standing of the said noble. Having a lady-in-waiting in a noble standing can be translated into acknowledgement, friendship or maybe connection. And it is very rare for commoners to be chosen, let alone to have connection to any noble especially, a princess. Standing across her are three ladies. One older lady stands one step behind her, one bulky knight standing near her, and a ravenette guard is standing near the knight.
