The Accidental Tablet Thief
Maya burst into Leo’s studio, fists clenched and heart pounding.
Her $2000 tablet. The one with her biggest pitch. Gone.
And there he was. Leo.
Cradling it like a baby. Wearing a pizza-stained shirt.
Grinning like he’d just won the lottery.
"You," Maya hissed. "That's mine."
Leo blinked, not even looking sorry. "Finders keepers?"
"I have 2 hours until the pitch that decides my career."
He held the tablet higher, eyes dancing. "So... coffee first?"
Maya wanted to murder him.
She also wanted to kiss him.
This was going to be a problem.
The studio smelled like paint, coffee, and pure chaos. Canvases were everywhere.
Cords tangled across the floor. And Leo looked completely unbothered, like he
stole tablets every Tuesday.
"Give it back," she snapped, stepping closer. "Right now."
"Or what?" Leo stood up, way too tall and way too smug. "You gonna fight me for it?"
Maya’s face burned. This was not how today was supposed to go.
Two hours. One career-defining meeting. And zero tablet.
But the worst part? When Leo smiled at her, all messy hair and crooked grin,
her stomach did a stupid little flip.
She hated him.
She really, really hated him.
