The Alphas Temptation

**Lillys POV**     "Lilly wake up." My mother is shaking me. "Agh what?" I ask and try and roll over. "Its tournament day." She says trying to entice me out of bed. It does get my attention though, I have been training everyday and must have lost track of what day it is. "I signed you up already." She says dangling a copy of the sign up sheet in front of me. I slowly sit up and she smiles. My mom is my best friend, shes always been there for me. I have 2 brothers also but they are stuck so far up my dads ass its hard to ever really talk to them. "Okay im getting up, now get out so I can get dressed." I tell her and usher her out of my room and she laughs. "Fine fine." She says and I hear her feet padding down the hall way. I look around. I love tournament day, its a day when anyone can fight anyone and there is no repercussions you just have to sign up and call someone out, I mean they can refuse but it looks bad on them.I goto my closet and grab my work out clothes knowing I was going to be in wolf form most of the time but still needing something comfy because im sure ill be sore after.       After I finish dressing I walk over to the mirror and run my fingers through my long brown hair. Today I will show my dad I am the most dominant alpha wolf in the pack besides him and maybe he will give me some kind of respect. Ever since I was a kid I have done everything to please him. I train 10x harder than my brothers, I always beat them, but he still ignores me and brushes me off, but not today. Today my father, alpha of the Kingsly Pack, will notice me and he will acknowledge I am the strongest wolf in the pack. I straighten in the mirror and nod to myself. "You got this Lilly." I say to myself and goto walk out of my room. "This isnt even going to be fare you know this right?" My wolf asks me in my mind. I laugh to myself and answer her. "I know but I have to prove myself to him and this is the only way, he has to know I am not just a useless woman, im a alpha just like him." I hear her laugh in my mind then pull out of my thoughts.     It doesnt take me long to get to the arena where the tournament takes place, not many people in my pack like me, she wolves that are also alphas are rare, this makes everyone around me uncomfortable, so I have really no friends. I go to the table to check in and my father beta Tex looks at me. "You know this is just going to piss him off right?" I look at him ans growl and he flinches back, he knows im stronger than him i proved that the night of my 20th birthday. Most wolves find their mates once they turn 20 but I didnt, and here I am 21 years old with no mate, and im not going to settle for some 35 year old wolf who is scared of me.      I walk past the booth and into the arena and I start to stretch I hear some guys cat call but I ignore them and look up to the spot where I can see my parents sitting. My mother has a big smile on her face while my father looks not amused at all. Its okay though by the end of today I will make him proud. My fathers booming voice snaps me out of my thoughts and I stand up to look at him. All the contestants get in a line I am the shortest in the line standing 5'6, but I know my wolf is bigger. "Lilly Kingsly step forward and pick your first opponent. I search the crowd and pick the second best warrior we have. I look and see my father smiling and I know he thinks I will lose, but he is in for a surprise. Ian stands and walks over to me and we shake hands. "Wolf form or human?" I ask my wolf already taking over my voice. He smiles. "Human, I dont wanna embarrass your wolf little one, and maybe once I win you will step off your high horse and we can have some fun later." Ian says his eyes filling full of lust and i growl my wolf taking over but not shifting. My father blows a whistle and the fight begins. Ian is huge standing at 6'4 and extremely muscular. He is handsome but his attitude kills his looks. He reaches out and tries to grab me and i dodge him. I am much faster than him. I go under and land a few punches to his stomach and chest area. He takes a staggering step back and I take the chance to knock his feet out from under him. He huffs as he hits the ground. "Thats it! Im done taking it easy on you!" He growls and stands up and charges me. I step out of the way and jump on his back, I rap my arms around his neck and squeeze until he falls to the ground. I stand up brush the dirt off my pants and give Ian a little kick with my foot, he doesnt move so I turn to my father and bow in victory and walk off.      After several fights none of them in wolf form im just getting warmed up. I can see the scowl on my fathers face and i smile to myself. He has to notice me now. After my fourth fight I Bow to my father and go stand back in line. I have defeated everyone that has challenged me or I have challenged. I am stepping back in line when my father stands up and I can see the smile on his face and my mothers face laced with worry. "As everyone can see, my dear daughter has defeated everyone shes been up against." I dont like the tone in my fathers voice. "She has one final opponent! Alpha Ryland Legend!" My father yells and you could hear a pin drop. Ryland Legend, my wolf growls. I look around the arena, Ive never seen alpha Legend before, no one has, because if you see him you usually die after. I pick my head up not going to show any weakness. I look up to my father and lock eyes with him. He is a coward. I hear a whistle and I whip around to see the most handsome man ive ever seen. He was huge and looked like he was made of stone. His eys lock mine and my wolf growls. "Mine." She says and i shake her from my mind. This monster isnt my mate she is just confused. I let a growl rip from my chest and I lock eyes with him. A smile creeps onto his face and a shiver runs through me. All the stories I have heard about this alpha comes rushing back to me. I start walking towards him and he meets me half way. I never take my eyes from his, which is a challenge in it itself. In the background I can hear my father laughing and my mothers sobs. I will not lose this. I let my wolf take over and she comes to the surface. "Wolf or human, he says in a gruff voice. "Your choice, Alpha." I put a emphases on the word alpha, and he growls. "Wolf." He says and starts to strip. I start taking off my clothes also, nudity being something we are used to in pack life. I quickly shift and I watch as my huge white paws hit the ground. I may not big big in human form but my wolf is extremely large showing how powerful she is. I turn and see a enormous black wolf looking at me. I snap my jaws and it looks like he smiles. This just pisses me off and I start to circle him. His eyes follow me, and I can tell he is waiting for a opening to attack, but im not going to give him one.      Ryland and I have been back and forth biting each other for what seems like hours, we are both bloody and getting tired, out attacks have slowed and every time I bite him I feel a sadness in my chest. His black coat is matted with dried blood and my white fur is now red, we are good opponents for each other, we both have a lot to lose with this fight. He lunges and bites my foot and i yelp and bite his ear and shake my head and he lets go and takes a step back. I take a step forward and falter, I instantly catch myself and I can see he seen it. He lunges and I feel his teeth wrap around my neck and i freeze. I instantly start seeing black dots as I slowly close my eyes and everything went black.
