Chapter Seven

"Mamma aapki beti is getting on my nerves now! Its been an hour nearly!" He lied on the sofa complaining to Mrs.Murthy who shared a laugh with Mrs. Malhotra.

"Oye! Beti hai meri!" Mr. Murthy came up with his 'non-serious' threat to which Manik smirked "Hone waali biwi hai meri!"

"And agar hum Shaadi na karwaye toh?" Manik glared at him "Not today Papa!!" And everyone else laughed while Manik sulked.



"Manik! I am really sorry.. Wo makeup blunders took so much of time" Nandini came running to Manik who turned to her with a glare only to soften his eyes later. s**t. She looked so damn pretty.

His lips parted slowly in an O and he widened his eyes when suddenly something came up from his mouth "s**t! So pretty!"

Nandini flushed with embarrassment as she looked at the elders hiding their smiles and pulled Manik by his hand "Manik chalo!" Manik who was totally under her spell nodded like a hopeless baby.

The driver ignited the limousine and Manik kept looking at Nandini who blushed. He slowly wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer only to smudge his lips against hers. Nandini smiled and softly ruffled his hairs and then both of them left for breath.

"You are looking so pretty!" She blushed and kissed his cheek "Thank you! You are looking no less!" She caressed his chest to which he nuzzled in her hair "Toh aaj raat?"

"No! Shaadi ke baad. Its only a month to our wedding Mani!" He smiled and nodded.

Soon it was time and they arrived near Hyatt where the screening was held.

"Let's go! Let people know who's the real Mrs. Malhotra!" She smiled and hugged him "I love you so damn much!!" He caressed her back "I love you more!"

Manik came out of the car and Radhika was about to jump on him. The camera went click click as he posed for one or two pictures with her.

He side hugged her when Radhika tried pulling him "Let's go inside?"

"No, I am here with my date!" He smiled to which Radhika gave a forceful evil smile and went inside alone. The media people became confused as in, with whom Manik Malhotra was about to come then?

"Come out baby!" He opened the gate and she stood up, looking as hot as flame. He slowly wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer.

The media went aghast and kept clicking forgetting all the others which did fume others.

All they knew was that, Manik Malhotra, the superstar of Bollywood was in love with the superstar of Fashion Industry, Nandini Murthy.

Karan too came up outside hearing the buzz and greeted the couple.

"Aha! Manik, Nandini sath me? Anything special?" Karan side hugged Nandini who gave a smile.

"Next month is our wedding na so today I thought of officially confirm it!" Karan widened his eyes "Our screening is going to get the most trps man! All the very best handsome man and pretty lady! " and he went inside while MaNan took seats near the reporting stage while Radhika fumed from inside eyeing them sitting so closely.

"So,Mr. Manik Malhotra, please say something about your movie!" One of the anchors started with the interview. Manik smiled "This is my 10th year in Bollywood and thus, this movie is very special to my heart. This is based on a boy who can cross all the hurdles to achieve the love of his life, and rest you all have to see, how!" He smiled.

"Sir, can we know something about you and Miss.Murthy please? You have always been silent over your relationship status but always stated that you aren't single, so is she the special someone?"

Nandini blushed and held Manik's hand who smiled at her and answered "Yes, the love of my life is Nandini Murthy!"

"When did this happen? Is Karan the cupid?" Manik laughed "We are childhood sweethearts! And next month we are going to get married"

All went click click and after a series of questions and answers MaNan entered the banquet and people started congratulating them.

"So, a lucky woman you are!" Radhika whispered in Nandini's ear when she was all alone. Nandini smiled "I am!"

"He must be so good in bed,no?" Nandini's eyes snapped at her with disgust but soon smirk covered her lips and she whispered "He surely is! A king in bed!" And with grace she walked away to her man while Radhika kept fuming.

In no time, the movie was screened and Nandini was sitting just beside him while Radhika was sitting beside him on the right hand side. Their parents were sitting behind them with proud smiles.

After a series of appreciation and praises, Manik took Nandini to the car and they drove away calling it for the night.

"I am so proud of you!" She whispered as he lied on the bed, decked in nightwear. She too had changed and was sleeping with him only.

"Can I love you tonight? Since Mumma and Papa are going to stay with Mom and Dad only?" She whispered against his ear to which he smirked "Someone had restricted it till the wedding!" She giggled and pulled him by the hem of his tee "I wanna see my king on bed yet again!"

And in no time, she was loved like no one. ❤
