Chapter Nine

Nandini was sleeping but unknowingly tears were falling down from her eyes. She didn't want to be trapped by media but she was just worried. She loved Manik and he loved her more than she could, yet there was something pricking her heart and she had mo answers to it.

Why didn't he call back? Was he so busy? Manikk. She whispered and her eyes fast opened and looking at the ceiling, she cried more.

Were actors so unfaithful? Actors would have unfaithful but not her Manik. She knew her boy since she was a child, since they were children. They used to be with each other, only each other since childhood till now.

Why didn't he call back? It's been four hours but no signs of his call.

She was about to sleep more when a knock and the door bell ring distrubed her. She wailed and opened the door only to be hugged by someone. Someone she knew who he was.

"Manik!" She caressed his back and felt her wiping softly. Closing the door behind she panicked having him crying so bad "Aree.. Are you okay? What happened baby?"

"Please be with me. Trust me, I did no wrong!" Nandini panicked to have him speaking utterly nonsense.

"Manik! First tell me.. Why are you crying?" She made him drink a glass of water and kissed his cheek to which he hugged her tightly "Alya proposed me"

Nandini's mind went blank. How could she? Didn't she know how much they loved each other?

"It's okay Manik... Calm down. I love you!" She kissed his forehead and he hugged her tight "I was just helping as a best friend and she.. "

She made him lie down and hugged him tightly "Be slow, don't panic. I am going to love you anyhow!" He nodded and hid her face in the crook of her neck "I know! I love you. Only you!"

"We were out on dinners, lunches and even parties since she wanted to enjoy and stuff. Trust me, Nandini!! I did Nothing!! Nothing! I was just being a normal friend. We were having brunch today when she held my hands and said I lo.. Love you to me and then moved to kiss me.. When I stood up, she yelled and said that she was in love with me since years.. During the filming of our first film, she fell in love ane married Dhruv soon after to move on.. This is ridiculous!! I don't love her.. I love you and the whole world knows that.. I don't give a damn if they ship me with her.. I am sailing down the harsh ocean with you only, just you!!" He showered kisses on her neck and face while she smiled a little and her heart stopped with it's rapid marathon. Her Manik was only hers and the most faithful.

"Manik! Why didn't you pick up my call? I was so tensed.. " She said to which he caressed her face and kissed both her eyes which had dried up the tears now "Don't cry for me!! I will always be yours only.. And my mind went blank with all the stuff!! The media chaos, this ridiculous thing and then you called.. I just picked up my wallet, phone and boarded the jet.. I am so sorry... I left our honeymoon just to console someone who wanted to spoil us.. I am literally so sorry!" Her lips on his ones made him shun and she smiled between the kiss. She longed for him as much as he did.

"Are you done with your assignment?" He asked soon after to which she nodded "Just need to finalize the final designs"

"We will be off to our Seychelles to complete our honeymoon.. All alone" He smiled and spoke to which she felt elated "Thank you for being so good Manik.. Thank you.. I thought you left me.. But you didnt.. I love you Manik.. I love you babyy" She kissed his palm and both lied to sleep.
