IT PAYS TO LIVE A GOOD LIFE

CH1 In the village of udu in Enugu State the people are still sleeping after the heavy rainfall Last night, the weather is cool and the floor are still wet and muddy due to the clay soil in the village. The entire village is quite and peaceful the sounds of birds are been heard,wet leaf are been seen around the village due to the rainfall. In a house made of brick and clay with little furniture with different types of tree (herbs vegetables and fruits) . This is the house of Mazzi Uba a tall handsome, and hardworking man in his late forties he is also honour in village, and also a good farmer and father to (Arinze & Ihuoma) he is married to Adamma a beautiful gentle disciplinary and also a reglious women, in her early thirty she is average in height. Mazzi Uba: whispering and shaping his cutlass preparing for to go to the farm since it was the farming season.( Till busy with his work his wife walk in to start the domestic work . Mazzi Uba: Okay (after having some conversation with each other, she left for the kitchen). Adamma: Ihuoma, Ihuoma (a young, slender, but pretty lady in her twenties walk in). Ihuoma: Yes, Mama, good morning. Adamma: Morning, my sunshine, how was your night? Ihuoma: (smiling) It was fine, Mama. Adamma: Okay! My daughter, please you will have to go to the stream to get some water for us. Ihuoma: Okay! Mama, I will go after I finish sweeping. Adamma: Okay. (Ihuoma left the kitchen and went to sweep the compound). Ihuoma: Papa, good morning. Mazzi Uba: Morning, my daughter, how are you? Ihuoma: I am fine, Papa. Mazzi Uba: Okay. (Ihuoma exit, Arinze came in, a young man in his twenties, tall and huge in physical appearance with a pointed nose, he is the type of man that every maiden in Udu wish to get married to, he is hardworking and respectful to elders). Arinze: Papa, Good Morning . Mazzi Uba : Morning my son , how was your night?. Arinze: we thank the gods. Mazzi Uba: Yes my son, may the name of the gods be blessed. Are you ready it's time for us to go to the farm ? Arinze: Yes papa . Mazzi Uba: okay let start going. ( They both left from the farm , after some minutes Ihuoma is been seen in the kitchen making fire for her mother). Ihuoma: Mama I am done with the fire , I am going to chineye house so we can both go to the stream. Adamma: kk, please be careful and don't stay out long , remember we both have to prepare breakfast before your father and brother return. Ihuoma: kk ,Mama I will be going now. Adamma : kk . ( The sound of a knock on the door is been heard in the house of mazzi Ebuka and the entire family are awoke due to the noise ). Mazzi Ebuka: Onye . Ihuoma: Mazzi, it's me Ihuoma. Mazzi Ebuka: okay! My daughter how are you? Ihuoma: I am fine Mazzi Ebuka: You are here for chineye ?. Ihuoma: Yes Nne . Mazzi Ebuka: Chineye ! Chineye: Yes,Papa. Mazzi Ebuka: Ihuoma is here for you . Chineye: okay! Papa, I am coming. Ihuoma I am ready we can go now, sorry for the delay. Ihuoma: okay! No problem. ( On their way to the village stream.This stream have been in existence for thousand's of years and it's the only stream that has never dry . On their way they say Amarchi also going to the stream and the three friends discuss while going to the stream). At the stream Amarchi: Oh ! I forgot to tell you guys , remember Daniel the son of late Mazzi Ifeanyi the young business man that stays at the city. He will be returning back to the village to supervise his new building . Chineye: Wow ! That is amazing! Is he single? . Amarchi: Yes he is , but don't even dream about getting married to him oooo because I am the suitable wife for him . Chineye: Hahaha you Amarchi? Please leave me ooo I don't have strength to laugh oooo. Ihuoma why are you not saying anything? . Ihuoma: what do you want me to say ? You guys are behavior like little children. I don't have intentions of getting married now, I want to go to the University and become a successful woman , than leave with a man wealth .
