I couldn’t believe Frankie’s reaction to me in her office. She was actually terrifying. I went there to see her and when she wasn’t at the meeting I asked for more money and told them I’d only deal with her. I just wanted to see her, I had no intention of trying to get that kind of money out of her. But she rushed in and I didn’t have time to explain. I had never seen aggression like it before especially in a business meeting and I guessed that all the stories about ‘The Wolf’ and her family were true. Then I went to her house to collect Ashton and she was there with some guy. She pretended that it was one of her brothers but I was heart broken. We had spent time together and I had feelings for her. I was desperate to find the woman that I would marry and I really thought that Frankie could be the one. After all, she seemed perfect. She was beautiful and kind and she could cook and most importantly she had strong family values. But I had seen a bad side to her that day in her office so after that I avoided her and her family at all costs. Until the day Ashton came in to my office to announce he had a new girlfriend. When he explained that it was Frankie’s little sister Bunny I wanted to kill him. “What are you playing at?” I asked as I paced the floor in front of him. “A few months ago you were declaring your undying love for ‘The Wolf’ and now all this” he shrugged his shoulders and told me that they had met up a few times, then they started dating and now things were getting serious and she wanted to have us both over for lunch that Saturday to introduce Ashton properly to her family. He asked me to go with him but I couldn’t think of anything worse. This family was nuts and I knew that he was just using Bunny to get to Frankie. He begged me to go with him and once he mentioned that Frankie and her twin sister and the two oldest brothers wouldn’t be there I agreed to go with him as support. But I warned him that he was playing with fire.
