It felt like we’ve only been flying for minutes, but according to Gabriel, it’s been hours since we took flight. When we landed, I could barely stand. My legs wobbled like jello and my face stung from windburn. We stood in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere. The place contained miles and miles of white cloudy nothingness with two fancy wooden cathedral doors. The doors stood up, not connected to any building. I was afraid they would fall at any minute, but they seemed sturdy standing up on their own. “Anne,” Gabriel started, “Once we walk through these doors, there is no turning back. Everything as you know it will change. This is the last chance to change your mind and I would not blame you or become upset if that is what you decide.” I grabbed Gabriel’s hand and held it tight. “
