17. Hope.

" "sì la nonna, si esserci in un few.she bene solo addormentato. okay" finished Tony on the phone. He glanced at how perfect his little family was and how Alisa had grown undeniably beautiful the time they had been apart. Her blonde bronze hair covered her big brown eyes and the night gown she had worn had a risen up her thigh. She seemed peaceful and at ease with the world unknown to what awaited them. In her arms was their Lia peaceful in sleep grasping to her mom once in a while to make sure she was still there. He moved towards them and moved the strands of hair from Lisa's head. He then watched as she slightly drifted away from his touch hurt that even in sleep he was denied to be her comfort. She was fighting demons he had no clue of and what hurt more was the fact that she didn't want to tell him what was wrong. He wasn't a fool and sure as hell neither was he blind to the fact that she would zone out many times in thought of things that had her scared to her bones. The bags underneath her eyes showed restlessness while her lack of happiness proved that whatever was bothering her was tearing her apart from the inside. They were fighting more than necessary these days and he needed to be clear of her until Nonna would talk to Lisa. His Nonna always had a way around things and this would help him discover Lisa's problems. Even if she didn't share what was happening ,Nonna would know what's bothering her. He glanced at his watch and moved towards the bathroom for a long awaited shower.

Lia shifted in her Mom's arms and awoke slightly taking her face in. Lisa jolted lightly to find Lia staring at her .

'Monkey,morning'

'Morning Mom'

Lisa woke from her position shifting Lia to her lap and tickled her way into endless giggles. Oh how she had missed days where the only thing that mattered was her blonde three year old and her endless giggles. Breathing hard an all of a sudden Lia moved her mother's arm off her and shifted further away.

'Momma??'

'Anha?'

'Are you and daddy fighting again?'

'Nooo. Why would you say that?'

'Its that you barely talk to each other nowadays. He says you are mad at him. Why you mad Momma? '

Shocked Lisa looked away from her daughter just in time to find an all smirking Tony watching his plan fall in to place. Ooh he had done it this time and he would certainly pay. Before they could even get to anything a slight knock was heard on their door. Lia opened the door to a slightly flushed Ann. She kept on saying sorry for interrupting them and it didn't help the fact that Tony was shirtless and grinning. Shortly afterwards Lia had followed Anna with a promise her parents would follow in a few. Immediately the door was shut leaving the two behind,Lisa turned to Tony with anything but a smile.

'How could you go off feeding lies to Lia? For heaven's sake what is your problem? Hmm Tony what's wrong with you??' Said a rather raging Lisa.

'Prima di tutto I'll suo non Si trova,lei e mia figlia io non si trovano a lei"

"Hmm of course you don't lie to her cause she is your blood. That is not new to me"

"Che cosa questo circa il mio sangue relazioni?"

"Why would you ask me when I barely stood a chance against your family a few years ago? You always chose them over me Tony and maybe that's why you turned against me"

"Mica ci si Ba si nuovo a proposito do come non ho mai auto la schiena,ho detto questo 10 anni fa e non ho niente in ripetendo di nuovo. Ho sempre avuto e ora e per sempre"

With that Lisa had just ran for the bathroom and as she closed the door several moments had appeared before her, but she couldn't go past the fact that she had never been as vulnerable as that moment. As she was undressing to move to the shower she remembered the first time she had heard those words from Tony. She had almost lost her mother again and this time it had seemed more fatal for her. Lucy had promised everything would be fine and she had not believed her eyes when she had spotted Tony outside the hospital. She had run into his arms nonetheless after the fact that his family had not approved of her. He had held her shaken form until she had stopped crying and that's when she had looked at him unsure of what had brought him there. He had just shook his head and told her she was his forever then and always and no family of his would change that. How long had time passed before she had those words again and not only did she never anticipate them,she didn't think she would break down endlessly afterwards. The shower was long given she had been crying her heart out and it didn't help that he had been stuck at the door listening to her sobs. He grabbed his phone from the table and put his shades on leaving Lisa all to herself. On the way to the pool he called his security team in the lounge to discuss their trip to DelaVega Villa.

There were due there any minute and he couldn't wait for Nonna to finally meet Lia and confront Esther about the recent information he had gained.

The shower had been long and Lisa had no regrets,she had decided. Whatever was going on in her head had to stop before Tony had gotten what he wanted. He would approach her very soon and confront her about whatever had happened, the only thing that worried her was when. When would he just tell her what he knew and just get it over with. The worry was consuming her,she had broke all family rules and deceived their love. She didn't know how he would take it and how he would react. It was like she was young all over again fighting with her mother over Lucy or how she had changed. She was uncertain how the events would change and it didn't help that she was worried as hell about Austin. As she got dressed and lay on her bed staring beyond the ceiling her phone buzzed. She took it in her arms and glanced at at it as Tony's face appeared on her screen.

"Mica si dovevano essere fatto qui un po 'fa dovrebbe Finn venire farti?"

"I'll be done in a minute Tony and no I don't need Finn to come get me."

Before he could say another word Lisa had tossed her phone to the other side of the bed. She got off and made her way to the lobby where they all sat awaiting her.

Breakfast was eaten quickly as everyone seemed to be in a hurry. Afterwards Tony had grabbed Lisa and moved her farther from the crowd.

"Mica we are leaving for the Villa in twenty and I would like you to behave. Especially in front of Nonna,I don't want her thinking I kidn*pped you or what. Try anything with her and I swear you will leave to regret it. Now smile I don't want them thinking I would do harm to my future wife."

And with that they had joined the group before everyone had dispersed to find their bags. Tony had not let go of her hand and he was hurting her but what could be done. The young man was afraid of meeting his Nonna. Lisa had never seen him so scared,the only person who could get to him had been Nonna.The time he had let go of her hand Lisa had immediately moved from his sight.

In the event of running from Tony she had accidentally bumped into a guy. Slipping right into his arms hadn't helped either and as she looked up to apologize it was like the universe had answered her prays. She was in Austin's arms and not in her life had she been this thrilled. She had literally jumped on him hugging him and shouting about how worried she had been. He just stood there in silence as his world ranted over and over thumping his chest with her small fists how she had missed his ass. He was entailed by how she seemed loss of words again, to show how upset she was.

"You...you are not...allowed to do this ever again!do you hear me? Never again Caster will you go into whatever you go into and not tell me. Do you know how worried sick I was? Do you ? Aargh why are you smiling?"

"Aah nothing Muffin. Okay mom I won't forget next time."

Ooh he had to be kidding her,she didn't understand how he could joke at a time like this. Hmm what a nerve he had! Austin couldn't seem to be happier than that moment.

"Wait,what are you doing here?"

"Me...I'm just on holiday. You know its been long since I just had fun. So I decided why not check Venice out?"

"Wow...if I didn't know you ,I would have been fooled awhile ago? Following me Caster?" Finished a guffy Lisa pointing an accusing finger at his chest.

"No,I can explain.."

"Of course you can!"

"Lisa I'm actually here with.."

"Babe there you are,I thought I'd never find you! These halls are so enormous", finished a bronze haired woman dressed in a yellow sundress as she run into Austin's arms. Austin had embraced the young woman with one arm as the other arm had been holding to Lisa. The world had seemed to stop for a while and Lisa couldn't seem to have noticed the woman's stretched arm. She then stared at green eyes with hurt and moved towards the lobby in search of her fiancé. The woman seemed astonished at Lisa's behavior and had turned to rant it out to her boyfriend who had just ran after Lisa. Embarrassed, she had just walked away shunned by his behavior and moved back to their suite. It did seem a lot was lacking in their new founded relationship but Sasha was not one to back down.

" I forgot to mention my girlfriend Sasha.."

"Of course you did "

"What now Muffin?"

But before he could finish his sentence Lisa had run to the comfort of the suite to take her bags. Huffing he said the words he had wished to tell her face to face for once.

"Am I not allowed to pretend I'm over you again?!"

Turning back to go after Sasha he had missed the fuming Tony who had watched everything from a far but clearly not too far. Tony was getting tired of picked up the broken pieces that Austin seemed to leave anytime they met with Alisa. He reached into his pocket and grabbed the small velvet box glancing between it and his retreating fiancée, the moment had come for the next step. It was finally time to bind her to him forever .

The ran to the room had drained Alisa's breath nor did it help feeling like her heart had been shuttered. It was heartbreak all over again and it hurt she was at the receiving end of it all. Austin barely seemed apprehending of the situation she seemed  to be in. It didn't help that she felt as hopeless as she was a few years ago. What had changed apparently was the fact that she was older and it was supposed to be less heartbreaking. She had been here before and thinking that maturity could cure heartbreak had been a careless mistake. It was as if she was sixteen all over again watching Austin's red eyes glare at her when she left him to be with Tony. The time had changed but she had initiated it all in the same position she was in now. Ooh how she missed her mother,she would have been the greatest help. It was time she visited her mother given they were going to Florence and she needed someone to hear her thoughts or maybe a gravestone. She didn't care it had been long enough and it was time she conquered her fears. She would visit her grave and after all these years she would finally go there on her own will.

The walk down the stairs to meet her baby daddy and daughter had been rather short. Tony seemed scared to his bones with a rather inquisitive Lisa in his arms.

"Moommy?"

"Yes monkey"

"Daddy says we are going to meet his Nonna"

"Yes we are monkey"

"Why does he seem terrified?"

"Well monkey ,daddy here is scared to hell of his Nonna"

"And why is that Mommy?"

"Because in all his years no one has ever stood up to him and questioned if he was man enough for anything in his life rather than his Nonna"

And with that Alisa had gone towards the Auto with her daughter leaving an enraged Tony behind. Well if he had to be honest no one bothered him like how his future wife did and it made the fight for her all the worthy.
