PROLOGUE
Clara is neither good nor bad, but because she's the daughter of The Lord of the Dead, many perceive her to be merciless. Beneath of all these beliefs, she's a beautiful, youthful princess with a serene and ethereal personality. She is a young woman with the striking resemblance of her mother, Persephone, flawless porcelain skin; as the marble statues of Aphrodite, dark and fathomless eyes as the depths of the River Styx and raven-black hair that evokes the night. Being the daughter of the abducted goddess, many thinks she'll end up with the same fate. She's very familiar with her parents' love story; every time deities, creatures, and other entities would retell her the story, her eyes would twinkle like the dark night sky full of stars; her lips would form a smile whenever something amuse her. Every time the story comes alive, the scenarios would unfold in front of her eyes. She can remember every events that has happened. Her father, the god of underworld; Hades, kidn*pped her mother, Persephone, the daughter of the harvest goddess, Demeter. Her grandmother was devastated by her mother's disappearance and refused to let anything grow, causing famine across the land. The Olympians tried to take Persephone back, Hermes who succeed, but what they didn't know is how Hades tricked Persephone to eat six pomegranate seeds so that she can stay with him in his realm for six full moons. The gods didn't have any choice but to have Persephone spend part of the year in the underworld with Hades, and part of the year with her mother, Demeter. With them being Clara's parents, she grew up to be a balance of the good and the bad, both light and shadow, an embodiment of the eternal dance between life and death, captivating all who behold her. But that's not all about her story, like her mother and father, she got a bit of something going on. One morning, she was strolling around a forest, also hoping to find the guardian of the gate who seems to be hiding away from her. Suddenly her eyebrow raised in curiosity as she heard high-pitched barking, she sneaked a peak into the parted leaves and what she laid her eyes on made her speechless. THE Cerberus, THE Guard of The Gates of UNDERWORLD, is playing fetch with a MORTAL. The Mortal adorn two deep brown orbs, his pale skin bright as sunlight as his raven locks swayed with his composed movements. As the Mortal threw the cane at a great distance, Cerberus' eyes twinkled with glee as he chased after it. Clara's stare stayed on the raven haired mortal as her eyes softened. The golden love arrow shined, pierced into her heart as the story of Hades and Persephone replays.
