For the first time in days I woke up in my own bed, to the smell of my own sheets. My eyes peeled open as the sun came glistening through the curtains. I stretched out, enjoying the feeling of finally being well rested. All of a sudden, my hands touched something warm and firm beside me. I jumped up and looked over to find, a very amused Lucifer.
“Good morning, Darling. Are you frightened?” His wickedly handsome smile appeared on his face. I had grown to love that smile so much. Wait. Did I just say ‘love’??
“No Lucifer, I’m not frightened. I just didn’t know that you were going to be here when I woke up. I’m not sure if there even is anything you could do to frighten me.” I said with a yawn.
