Eventually my father and Jennifer stepped out of the room. She still appeared wary of her surroundings but her hand was firmly wrapped around my father's and she followed after him trustingly. He didn't want her to return to that house which will be filled with horrible memories for her. After much hesitation, Jillian agreed to let her mother be taken to my place instead.
