Two days. It’s been two days.
She doesn’t answer her phone. Doesn’t respond when I text her. She can’t be tracked.
She’s virtually untraceable.
But each night she sends me one message that doesn’t answer any of my questions. Tells me she’s okay, and that I can’t come looking for her.
I’m not leaving this area. I’m staying close. Since coming here, to what I clearly remember as her mother’s final resting place, I’ve had more of my memories come back.
My father had me believe she was dead. After he sent me to kill her. I realize now that it was a punishment for me for falling for Nora.
And I know why he sent me. Because he couldn’t do it himself. But then the goddess intervened and he kept her hidden.
