How can one girl have so much emotion inside? She cried. A lot. Like, a lot a lot. Then, it was silence. She wouldn’t eat, wouldn’t speak. For days.
Gabe almost force fed her more than once.
Then, the trips to the cemetery. Where he was buried.
So she could continue to mourn.
When she was done, little bits of Katelyn started coming back. She smiled a bit more. She made up with Kai—her lifelong best friend. Well, not as much anymore. Kai kind of moved on. The two could be friends, but there was some irreparable damage there that would put a distance between the two for probably life.
