Ciel Ciel woke up feeling short of breath, as if startled. He quickly blinked and noticed he was lying on his back in the middle of nature, completely naked. Above him, he could see the thick foliage of trees, beyond which was a sky that was of a clear gray but that seemed to open as dawn approached. The ground under him had sticks and rocks poking his back, and while the mild breeze around him was cold, it didn’t make him shiver, instead of presenting itself as a minor relief to his heated skin. He felt feverish and slightly confused, and while his muscles ached in discomfort, he wasn’t exactly tired and his heart was still beating wildly inside of his chest – he guessed this sense of anxiety had awakened him. As an active but relaxed guy, he couldn’t remember ever feeling this agitat
