Grand Opening

Today is opening day for my resturaunt, I have been here since 2 O' clock this morning making sure everything is prepared. Mal has been super busy at work and I feel like we never get time together anymore. Being 4 months pregnant doesn't help matters much. I am super emotional and having a really hard time this pregnancy.

A beautiful bouquet of roses is sitting on the counter I smile and grab the card.

We open the doors at 2 and we are packed to the gills, I have been cooking my butt off the entire day and my head chef Hector has been helping. Our entire staff is on the move we have had 147 tables and it is only 5p.m. My restraunt is only 32 tables and it is a quiet serinty vibe that is also family oriented.
I check on all my employees including my oh so pregnant sister in law Daniella.
" Hey Danny you good you need a break?"
" No I am okay, I have three tables and then after I will"

" You are my dream" I pull him back in as we devour eachother for the fleeting moments we have right now.
Maliki helps with dinner service and we only had one complaint all day from none other than Carter Santigo.
" What's wrong Carter"
" My wife is alergic to mushrooms Ardenia"

" You didn't say no mushroom and it clearly states it on the list of ingredients"

I nod and go to walk away Carter grabs my arm
" Do you want a bad review Ardenia?"
" I am not the girl you pushed around 3 years ago Carter let me go or leave here with a bill and a bloody nose"
Maliki walks up behind me and he let's go of my arm
" We will take our bill now"
I walk away and walk to my office throwing the vase of flowers against the wall

He walks out and I start cleaning my mess up and crying.

I put my hair up, and we head out the door. He pulls in to forrest Green park.

He leads me past the Gazebo and we start hiking up Forest Mountain. We head to a small water fall that I have never seen before. there is a stream and a small cabin. He leads me to the cabin it is moderatly decorated.

" I built this place when I first started working for your family, this was my happy place before I met you"
I turn to him
" And what is your happy place now?"
