"We hadn't even said what we wanted yet" Valerie said
"Father told us already" Eliot answered
They begged for hours and it was soon obvious the brothers were only playing with them, but what could they do?
If Elliot and Eli didn't go with them to the ball that was in four days time, Valerie wouldn't be going anywhere, and Rebekah wouldn't be going anywhere either if Valerie didn't go.
She was Rebekah's strongest point she had used in winning over her mother.
"Please, it's just for a night. You both can do whatever you want, but just come with us.
This is a dream we can't afford to miss"
Rebekah said, on both knees.
She hadn't even begged her mother this much!
"Then wake up!" Eli said back to her.
If he wasn't Valerie's brother, she would have shifted into her wolf and attacked him!
"Just a night, do you both always like to see me like this? I am your sister, and only sister. I won't be here for long once I find my mate, just grant me this one wish.
I really want to see the castle, please" Valerie continued to beg.
After hours of persuasion, they finally agreed on the condition that they cleaned their shop for twelve days.
It was better than regretting for the rest of their lives, so they agreed.
By the time they went back to Mister Potter's shop, they were so exhausted and doubted they would have enough energy to even try out the clothes he would hand to them.
The shop was less crowded and more spacious.
They walked into the space they thought he was and the last time they had seen him.
He was still attending to one more customer, so they decided to wait.
People had almost bought all that was in the shop as it appeared to be empty.
Soon he was done and went towards them.
"You both are here already" he said as soon as he saw them.
"We came as soon as we could" Rebekah answered.
Knowing she wasn't meant to go home late, they needed to hurry.
"Okay, come with me" he said and they followed him further into the shop, into a*****e where he had very pretty and exquisite clothes.
Some looked unfinished, or perhaps they just didn't understand the style?
"Here, look around, pick what you like. Consider this as your VIP special tour"
He said to them, looking directly at Valerie.
Rebekah couldn't express her excitement.
She quickly left Valerie's side and began to look through the clothes that hung.
She soon came across an emerald colored gown.
It was thick and beautiful.
It had stones decorated at the top, bottom and wrist area.
"Perfect!" she said to herself with a smile.
It was an off shoulder gown that was fitted down to the knees and flared out.
The hand length was long and flared right at the wrist where the stones were.
She couldn't even imagine herself in the dress.
She took it and rushed over to where Mr Potter was.
"Mr Pott…sorry, I meant David. How much does this cost?" she asked and closed her eyes to hear the earth wrecking price.
" That's an expensive one Bekah, are you sure?"
"Just to rent, for a night. I know buying this might cost a fortune even selling my house might not cover up for.
I promise to bring it back just as it looks, or spend the rest of my life paying for it."
She had to convince him to let her take it.
Anything other than that won't be enough.
Not that she wanted to impress anyone though.
" A night might cost you twenty golds"
"What!?"
That was her entire life.
Selling her won't cost twenty golds!
"But, I will make an exception for you"
That was good news
" Can you pay seven golds?"
He asked
"In how many years do you need it?" she asked back
And they both laughed
"Okay, the lowest I can go for is five golds"
"Deal!"
She said and happily jumped around.
She could pay him five golds in eleven months.
Being an Omega defines you to poverty, but they get by somehow.
Soon Valerie came out with a beautiful sea blue dress.
It will definitely compliment her fiery red hair and blue eyes, just like Mister Potter's.
But she will have to pay six golds for it.
Mr Potter handed them some jewellery they would wear with the dresses, that also needed to be returned the next day.
They thanked him and left.
……
Days passed and Rebekah spent her time in the market selling veggies and helped Valerie clean her brother's shop as agreed.
Soon the full moon day arrived and they couldn't be more excited.
Rebekah hurried to Valerie's house after selling the veggies for the day and taken a bath.
She needed to smell good while looking good.
They helped each other with their makeup, and Valerie helped Rebekah pack her long brown hair into a stylish bun.
It must have been difficult for her as Rebekah's hair reached her waist.
She stared at herself in the mirror and smiled.
She felt beautiful.
Her hazel eyes stared back at her and she was satisfied with her look.
She wore the pair of earrings Mr Potter had given them and she was complete.
"You look beautiful Bekah" Valerie said to her once she was done with her hair.
"And you are radiating" Rebekah said back with a smile.
"You sure you don't want me to pack your hair? It's screaming danger!" she joked
"Perfect, I want everyone to know. Besides letting my red hair down like this compliments the dress"
Soon they were out and the twins were waiting for them with a carriage they owned.
Fancy for an Omega.
"You both look very pretty" Said Eli
They smiled and entered into the carriage.
The brothers were dressed in a simple suit, not one to ask questions about.
They got to the castle and their heartbeats could be heard drumming inside their chest.
The carriage stopped by this tower of stairs?
The stairs were so high they could barely see the entrance.
"Remember, we must act noble" Rebekah reminded Valerie
"Tonight we are royalties"
Valerie smiled and nodded and they got down with the help of her brothers.
One look and one might think they were all mated to each other.
They walked gracefully up the flight of stairs, but it seemed the stairs might kill them first before their nervousness.
They were already panting heavily by the time they got to the last stair and were told to show their invitations.
They soon walked in and it was a breathtaking view.
Exactly how Rebekah had imagined it and more.
The paint and sculptures were indeed gold!
"So this is what it truly looks like" she whispered to herself.
