Everything was beautiful, the music, the environment, the people.
Everyone was dressed to their best.
Rebekah walked through the halls and a big light castle like hung from the ceiling.
It was so beautiful.
" Don't overdo it or people will notice" she heard Eli whisper to her as she held his arms.
"Isn't it beautiful? For someone to live here in heaven on earth?"
Eli laughed and she just frowned.
"In my next life, I want to be a Luna and own all this" she said
And this time it was the three of them who laughed.
"It's not funny!"
"It's okay to be a Luna, but just in case you are still an Omega, you be a strong one, okay?" Eli said and she nodded
"So what's your plan, we are taking you both home by 10:30" Elliot said
"But that's too soon!" Valerie complained
"Father's rules" Eli added
"Coming here already, is enough"
They walked into this room full of people as some of them were dancing while some just spoke amongst themselves.
"People are gonna think we are together" Valerie whisperers to Eliot
"Aren't we?" Asked Elliot
"Eww, you are my brother" Rebekah smiles at their little conversation
"Dear sister, will you like to have this dance?"
"Since when did you dance? I thought it wasn't your thing"
"Shut up and take my hand, I am trying to make this night pleasant for you.
And also, make someone here jealous so they fight to dance with you next, don't make me change my mind."
Rebekah couldn't help but smile at the sibling bond they had.
Being an only child, Valerie was the closest to a sister she got.
She watched them head to the dance floor and swayed on it like lovers.
"Do you wish to dance?" she heard Eli ask next.
"Not yet, you know I can't dance.
I will be at that table, I have always wanted to try some of those." she says to him gesturing to where the foods where located.
"Sure, I will find someone else then, and I will be back for that dance."
She heard him say and smiled
She watched him leave and she walked over to the table.
She moved her hands on the wall beside it, she wanted to touch the gold.
And then to the table cloth, it felt really soft like silk.
She smiled
She looked at all the delicious foods arranged and went for the cake.
"You're not gonna eat that alone now are you?" she hears Valerie ask
"Of course not, here let's share it"
They took a bite and it melted right on their tongue.
They looked at each other knowingly and laughed.
It tasted so good!
"I feel strange, like a tingling sensation" Rebekah said to Valerie
"It must be the cold, here let me rub your arms" she offered
"No! We are royalty okay? You don't see anyone rubbing another person, do you?" She quickly rejects the offer and Valerie looks at her in realization.
"Did someone say royalty?" they hear Elliot
"Just for tonight" Rebekah said
"Something smells good, like honey and pine tree" Rebekah says again, sniffing the air around.
"You must be famished, here, eat some more" Valerie says as she gestures to the delicacies on the table.
How can she refuse?
They eat a little more and they hear a loud trumpet that jerks them from their fun.
"The Alpha Has Arrived" they hear a guard announce and the ever so closed doors flings open.
Everyone bows and Rebekah bows immediately, missing his face.
But she knew what he wore, beautiful blue and white. As she described it.
Wanting to take a glance at who this Alpha was as she tried standing on her toes when suddenly the crowd surrounded him.
"Ready for our dance?" She hears Eli and
turns around to see him.
"Where's your date?" she asked
"She left me for the Alpha" he said and she laughed
"Seriously, what's that smell? It just became stronger."
"Do you smell honey and pine trees?" Rebekah asks Eli
"You sure you're still not hungry? I watched you and Valerie eat for a while"
He said, making her feel a little embarrassed.
"I am serious, it's stronger, it's driving me almost insane"
"Honey and pine trees?"
"Yes!"
"Maybe the dance will clear your senses, cause I smell nothing."
He held her hand and put his other hand on her waist, but she was too immersed in the scent that she needed to find it.
She turned her head left and right to know its direct location and turn back.
And she perceives this sweet scent that suddenly just increased. She trace it to this man that was just standing where the Alpha stood with the same cloth and… OH NO!
She froze, terrified!
She notices him smile for a moment and she nearly passes out.
"MATE!?
The Alpha!?
Why? How?
I am an Ome…what is he staring at?"
She follows his line of sight and nearly gasps!
"Get your hands off me, I think I just found my mate" She whispered to Eli
"What?" he whispered back
She watched him take slow and steady steps to her.
"He was breathtaking, this entire castle can't be compared to his beauty.
Dark long hair reaching his shoulders, brown eyes, seductive smile.
I am trapped.
His skin soo delicate like it hasn't been touched before.
His lashes like they were placed carefully.
His sharp features and jaw line like they were crafted by the goddess herself.
He smelt sooo good.
Honey and Pine tree, perfect!" She thought.
He gets closer and she nearly panics.
"Would you like to have the first dance with me" she heard him say
"Ye..y..yess"
She answers like an i***t.
But anyone in her position would answer like an i***t.
He led her to the dance floor, but.. She couldn't really dance
"Breathe" She heard him say and she forgot she wasn't even breathing.
As the realization hit her, she tried to control her breath.
The music started and she flunked hard at the dance floor, some of the time, she stepped on him.
But he didn't say a word.
The crowd watched them, and for a moment she saw Valerie looking at her in pure shock.
"What's your name" she heard him ask
"Be.. Rebekah"
"like an i***t again" she thought
He complimented her and she swayed, turning a few shades darker.
After a while, he whispered to her… "I want to show you something, Rebekah"
She couldn't say no and she nodded.
He led the way out of the dance floor into the most beautiful garden she had ever seen.
He looked serene under the moonlight.
But everything changed when he wanted to know more about her.
She knew he hated Omegas.
The news was everywhere, it was a shock he had even invited the commoners.
"Should I tell him or not" were the questions that echoed in her head.
He will find out sooner than later.
And before she could complete the words he sent her out of his presence.
She had never felt this much pain before.
She quickly ran out with tears in her eyes.
She went back to the crowd in search of Valerie and her brothers
Once she saw them…
"Let's go, please!"
"What happened to you?" She hears Eliiot ask.
People began to whisper about her, being the one who had danced with the Alpha, she didn't like it.
"NOW!" She said and walked out.
