After returning back home with Mimi, Heidi decided to run a few errands. She fixed her hair into a bun on top of her head, grabbed her sunglasses, keys, and jean jacket and headed out to her car. Heidi, drove an older model Toyota Matrix, as she got in she adjusted her mirror to catch a glance at herself. A few more laugh lines by her eyes, but she basically still looked very youthful in appearance. Heidi was a very attractive middle aged woman, even with messy bun hair. The first thing Heidi noticed as she pulled out of the driveway, was that Cadillac Escalade SUV, again; this time she saw, that the first three letters had matched from earlier, on the license plate. Ok so this is definitely the same car from earlier, and being that I just started to see it, I will deduce that it's also the same car from last night. Heidi reasoned within herself. Now the million dollar question was, who was driving that car, was it Mother Esther? If it was Mother Esther, what was she doing up here far ways from her home.
As Heidi continued driving she noticed an all black SUV, Cadillac Escalade, that sped up behind her, right on her ass end, and then hastily passed her, and cut her off in front. First three letters of this license plate was MMH. Michael Matthew Heidi, was how she would keep this one logged in memory. The all white Cadillac Escalade suddenly started to come opposite of Heidi, as Heidi tried to peep the driver, she hadn't been able to see. The windows were tinted so heavily, she couldn't even tell if anyone was driving the car at all. She was able to see from behind that it was the same license plate as earlier. Well that figures, Heidi thought to herself. Can't see who if anyone is driving at all! However, they don't mind me being able to know their license plate, they just don't want me to identify the driver. Heidi had a few suspicions, Mother Esther being one, however, Heidi wondered about, the old man, wearing a baseball cap, by the dogwood tree. He was either, the driver of this white car, or the male voice of mocking behind the trees in the park. Her intuition had told her. If he wasn't, one of them, then who was he?
Heidi pulled up to the local Walmarts super center. She thought she was able to get a pretty decent spot. As she stepped out of her car, she noticed that same Black Escalade, license plate MMH-4119, ah ha now I got the whole number. She looked around to see if she saw the white one, she did see it drive by Walmarts, however, it was not parked, and it appeared to be on route 34 still. Again, her intuition had alerted her to it's presence near by.Ok let's check out who all is in the store, I can walk down a few extra aisles, and take my time brousing, Heidi suggested to herself. People were only just starting to come out of their houses again. The Kora virus was pretty big news for the past two years straight. Most everyone was scared of catching it. The news insisted on instilling more fear, and people were running out to get all sorts of experimental vaccines, and free test kits. Heidi had been a nurse, years back, and she really didn't care for doctors offices, or vaccines. Heidi had changed her diet, and pretty much went with holistic medicines, and lots of exercise; and that was how she seemed to stay fit and not get sick. When she changed her diet, she did it according to her blood type, which was O negative. There really were benefits to eating according to ones blood type. If it wasn't for that, she would really struggle with her early morning Mimi sessions.
The usual crowd of either half dressed women, or pajama wearing people's filled the aisles. She hadn't noticed anyone out of sorts so far. Then as she was nearing the produce department, she saw what looked like Sister Angela Bass, from the cult. Of course this would be an Angela wearing regular street clothes and not looking like the Amish, and if Angela had shorter hair. The woman looked so much so like Angela, Heidi said to her as she passed, "Angela?". The woman then glanced at Heidi with a confused look on her face, and said, " Excuse me,". Heidi then saw there were some differences , such as this Angela wasn't as attractive, as she remembered Angela being. Her skin seemed rather rough, and she appeared older than what she remembers Angela being, or appearing. The eyes were so much alike though, and the shape of the mouth, along with hair color. Actually, it was a little uncanny, after seeing the white Escalade, that mirrors Mother Esther's car. " Oh I'm sorry," said Heidi. " I thought you were someone else", she added. " No problem," said the Angela look a like. Then as Heidi was walking by women's apparel, she spotted another woman who looked like Sister Stacey Bee from the cult. Only this would be a Stacey that had shorter hair, and different style of dress. Another not as attractive version, but pretty dam uncannily close of Sister Stacey. Two occurrences like that in the same store, what are the coincidences of that. It was pretty obvious that Heidi was being stalked by the cult she once was a part of. The question was why. Now, she already knew the cult speaks horribly, about ex members, especially ones that leave on their own accord. Would they go so far as to really come all the way up north from down south, to harass, and follow? Problem was, it was like even though communication spoke to her intuition as cult. Her eyes clearly saw that there was some differences in appearance, it was as if, she saw the whole cult through glasses, that even made their physical appearances more attractive. If these were the same women from the cult, playing as if they are not, then they really got unattractive, and older looking, since she last remembered them. Could that even be possible? She questioned to herself. Then as she was walking, and pondering this down an aisle, a elderly man and woman, the same looking ones from the park pushing the wheelchair, walked by and she heard it sounded like they whispered her name. She continued a little further down, and a group of two males and one teenager came down the same aisle, and she heard them whisper her name as she walked by. When she ran up and questioned about what they wanted. The one male said to her, " Excuse me mam, none of us whispered your name." " Are you ok Miss", asked the second man that was with him. Both men appeared to be middle aged, like Heidi. " Yes, I'm fine, I just thought I heard my name, that is all," Heidi said to them, as she continued walking to the check out. Heidi had enough of Walmarts for that day, and now she was a little freaked out at what she was experiencing. After she loaded herself, and her goods back into her car, she headed back home. It would be soon time for Mimi's walk, and needed to gather her thoughts in peace before she did that.
