Unknown POV
He sat in a dark room filled with cameras that laid in several different places around the world. You could hear the sound of typing as it filled the silent room. It was clear that he wasn’t the only one.
Instead, he got lost in thought as he stared at the different screens, he’s been at this for hours. No new information came from the speakers as it usually did. He already reread the information on the papers that he had written a week ago, maybe he skipped over something?
He had truly wondered if everything Evangeline had said in the library was true or not. Did the humans really start the war one thousand years ago or was that just something that the supernatural covered up?
He hated this, not being back there in history but again there wasn’t anything he could do about it. He was born when he was born.
“Honey?” A woman called out as the sound of typing came to an unsettlingly stop. “Do you want anything?”
“No, thank you.” He called out, not moving a muscle. He glanced down at the red button as he wondered if he should use it yet. He did have all the supernatural in one place, so he could wipe most if not all out. Then again, he still had humans. What was he going to do with the humans?
He had decided, he was going to kill them. His hand reached to slam on the button but something stopped him, Evangeline. He had always wondered how she would have turned out. He was revealed when she found Nate, although they hated each other before, they were becoming great friends now.
He had never met someone like her, she seemed to have her hand on her shoulders and he wondered what difference she could make for this world. Would she be the one of many to make a difference or would she be one of the thousands to give up?”
“Hope is an optimistic attitude of mind based on the desire or goal. Faith is now. Faith is in a person, having trust in them. Hope is in the future.”
On the other hand, the kids were young and had to experience life. They had the world at their fingertips and they didn’t seem to realize that yet. He was going to let them live just a little bit longer and than when they least expect, he’ll strike.
