The trip to Paris to say the least was amazing, if you forget about the run-ins with my dad of course. We were headed home on the airplane in our seats, preparing for take off. I've never really been a fan of planes but it wasn't so bad with Alex by my side, as corny as it sounds. My thoughts drifted back to my dad how he actually believed my mom when she thought she was a goner. That he listened, if he truly cares about his wife and kids he would've relented, my mom wasn't in the best state of mind either with her illness, I sure as hell know I wouldn't listen to Alex if he thought he was dying and told me to move on, leaving my kids behind.
