“So Lucy hasn’t left her room since the rejection, as she’s so ashamed that her mate called her out on her entitled behavior,” Alex was telling me via an online video conference after our economics class. “She’s really upset about the whole thing. Although she’s also unhappy with Prince David, and saying he’s a judgmental jerk.”
“Wow!” I say, surprised. “I mean, I’ve always thought her behavior was a bit over the top, but not worthy of a rejection! Poor girl.”
