"What do you say? Will you do this? Because once you begin there is no turning back." He said in a low deep voice. I needed to know my family has my back on this.
I turned to look at Del who gave me a small smile and a nod, Celeste and Timber did the same, I looked at Meadow, my ever so sassy little sister, I saw her tear up as she leaned closer to Del giving me a slight nod, while Oscar just looked at me confused, he is still young his brain can't process all these yet.
"Yes, yes I will." I said with a bold face.
"What about you Timber w-" he was interrupted.
"Yes." He replied not even allowing uncle Ronnie to finish his sentence, uncle Ronnie gave him a curt nod.
"Your training starts first thing tomorrow morning, at the break of dawn. And you girls and boy can feel at home, Orion will be here tomorrow morning and you Del can see him about your training." He said looking at her. I'm thinking this Orion guy is the witch that'll help train Del.
"Okay." Timber and I responded in unison while the girls just nodded their head.
"Good, now that we are on the same page, we can get fully acquainted, I'm Rinaldo Williams, everyone calls me Ronnie and you all can do so to." He said with a smile.
"Okay Ronnie." Celeste replied.
"There is dinner in the fridge, heat it up and eat you must be hungry," he is right I'm starved "then carry your bags to your new room, this house is not all that big, its a four bedroom duplex so you guys will have to share." As he said that my eyes ran over the room, I was so caught up in the heat of the moment that I didn't even look around.
His house looks normal and cozy, its walls are painted a milk colour contrasting with the brown colour of the leather couch, the, there is a fire place which isn't lit and a small centre table made from oak wood.
"We don't mind." Del said with a smile.
"Okay, both you and Celeste can have the right room upstairs to the right. And you boys can share a room next to mine with Orion, its the room upstairs to the left, it is a brown colour, Meadow and Oscar can have the room opposite Del and Celeste room." He said looking at us waiting for us to ask a question or something.
"Okay, thank you." Del said.
"Don't mention, get settled in and have a good night." He said and walked up the stairs.
"Good night." Celeste called after him. And Timber let out a deep sigh.
"Let's all go get settled in the we can come down for dinner, we are having a late dinner but its better than nothing." I said as the girls took a hold of their suitcases and walked upstairs with Meadow and Oscar following closely behind, we also grabbed our suitcases and went to our new room. The girls still have a couple suitcases in the living room, they'll come back for it.
We opened the door to our new room taking in the sight, nice. Its a nice color of grey, two bunk bed sat in the room, one next to the wardrobe, the other not quite sitting opposite it as its displaced but its still opposite it.
The room has quite some space, we entered the room fully with me shutting the door behind me, the wardrobe was a brown colour, the floor had a grey carpet on it complementing the walls, was expecting it to be tiled instead but its still okay.
There is a TV on the opposite wall of the wardrobe, the room looks simple but it is really nice and has a really good and positive vibe to it, at least not until I looked to the area next to the TV, there is a really big black pots and bottles with different colours of liquid on a table. Well a witch or should I say a wizard stays here after all.
"What's all that?" Timber asked as he opened the wardrobe, probably wants to start unpacking.
"Maybe its the wizard's things." I said unsure as I went to the wardrobe myself.
"Should we go take a look at it?" He asked with a smug expression.
"Nope, I don't think I want to have anything to do with any of that, let's just unpack quickly and go have our late dinner." I told him as I unzip my suitcase and opened the Wardrobe.
There were clothes inside that probably belongs to Orion and a chest sat on his folded clothes, I resist the urge to open it as Timber and I shared the remainder of the space in the wardrobe.
"I wonder how the girls are doing." I said absent mindedly.
"They are girls, they are doing fine, I'm sure they will change a lot of things in their room by tomorrow, we can go check on them when we are done." I suggested and he nodded his head in agreement.
We finished unpacking forty five minutes later and I went into the bathroom to freshen up, the bathroom is quite simple, a nice cubicle shower, the walls of the toilet us tiled, a basin and a washing closet.
I finished in the bathroom and Timber went in next, finally done we let out a deep breathe and went to the girl's room, Timber knocked on the door and Celeste called for us to come in.
"Hey girls." We greeted as we walked into their room. Celeste and Del are the same age group.
"Hey." They greeted back.
Their room is really nice, its a white colour with a Queen size bed in the middle, laid with blue sheets, there is a seat by the window, its a nice blue colour, I stepped into their bathroom and was stunned, wow! The bathroom is gorgeous, they have both a cubicle shower and bathtub.
The floor is tiled nicely, the bathroom walls is a nice color of lavender, a basin and a water closet sat next to the tub, nice. I got out of the toilet and turned to the girl's, Meadow and Oscar were on the bed playing with Del's iPod while the girl's are still unpacking, they are almost done though.
"Finally done!" Celeste said letting out a deep breathe.
"This room needs a immediate make over." Del said eyeing the room.
"I know right, maybe we should talk to Ronnie about it." Celeste suggested grinning ear to ear.
"Or maybe you should be contented and happy with what you've got." Timber said and Celeste glared at him.
"Fine whatever! We'll freshen up and join you guys downstairs." Del said shooing us away.
"Unpack meadow and Oscar's suitcases too." I instructed.
"Done that, now excuse us." Del said with her hand on her hip waiting for us to leave.
"Don't keep us waiting we're starving." Timber said as he left the room and I followed suit. We headed downstairs and turned on the TV, at least that'll keep our minds off things.
"I'm anxious." I suddenly burst out.
"What?" Timber asked giving me his attention.
"We are werewolves, we will soon grow furs and sharp claws and all that, we are going to have our wolf and stuff...." I trailed off at a loss of words.
"Even I am anxious but I'm keeping it together and so should you, we will get through this." I reassured with a smile, I returned the smile feeling better and went back to watching TV, we were watching the invisible man.
This s**t is annoying, you have an invisible sociopath after your life and you decided that the best place to hide was in an attic, how sma.....
"Oh s**t!!!" I exclaimed, eyes wide in realisation.
"What happened?" Timber asked with wide eyes.
"All the books and things mom said will help us with the information we need to get us through this that were in her bedside drawer I forgot to pack the-" I was rudely interrupted.
"Don't bother yourself dweeb, I packed them." Del said from behind me and I let out a sigh of relief.
"Let's take a look at them after we eat okay." I suggested and she nodded, walking behind Celeste with Oscar and Meadow to the kitchen, we followed them and saw Del rummaging through the fridge.
"There is only left over of chicken pot pie, I guess that's what he had for dinner." Del said as she placed it on the island.
"Okay no problem, heat it up and serve it on the dining table." She did as so and we were all eating our food. I finished my food five minutes later and gulped down a bottle of chilled water.
"Who else is still hungry?" Timber asked looking at us and I raised my hand.
"What I just ate did no justice to my hungry stomach, it feels like I didn't eat anything." I said and everyone except Oscar and Timber looked at me with wide eyes.
"You literarily just finished eating, it hasn't even been five minutes yet." Celeste pointed out and I shrugged.
"What else does Ronnie have in his fridge I'm hungry?" Timber said and headed to the kitchen with his plate in his hands and I followed him, we both started looking for what to eat, we found some beans a bread and downed it in minutes, all the while the girls stared at us like we've grown another head.
"Now I feel like I've eaten but I'm still hungry." I said frowning.
"How are you still hungry?" Del asked shocked staring at me.
"At least this little food will hold us till morning, I'm exhausted." Timber said stretching.
"Yeah me too, let's go hit the sack." I suggested and we both got up from the dining table.
"Didn't you say we'll take a look at the books and what mom and dad left behind for us?" Del asked staring at me lazily.
"We can do that tomorrow, good night." I said as I left their presence.
"Good night, sleep tight." Timber said and followed me to my room, leaving the girls in disbelief.
I feel mentally drained and exhausted, I laid back on my bed, I took the up bunk and Timber took the down one, I started at the ceiling with my left hand tucked under my head.
"Tomorrow is a new beginning." Timber said and switched off the light, the room was eerily quiet, the only sound that was heard was the soft snores of Timber.
