The truth

Timber and I went to my room to pack my bag. "They were also suppressing your wolf?" I asked as I put my clothes into my suitcase. "Yeah but I'm still having trouble believing it." He said looking confused. "Yeah but its what our late parents told us, they said now that our wolves are not suppressed any longer we will have it back soon, you'll we'll have proof." I told him. "Yeah, I guess you're right, you're the one that has the biggest responsibility, taking care of your siblings, training to become an Alpha, take over your pack and fight other packs and other stuffs." He pointed out. "Yeah, there is a huge weight on my shoulder, I don't know if I'm capable of doing any of those things." I said unsure. "Was it only a letter your parent left for you?" He asked curious. "Let me check." I picked up the envelope and letter from the floor, I kept the letter on my bed and checked what else was in the envelope, I found a credit card and a car key, and a small paper that has three different phone numbers of it. "Who do you think the numbers belong to?" He asked and I shook my head slightly. "Maybe uncle Ronnie and two other Alphas, so what did your parent say you'll do?" "Stand by you, support you all the way." He said staring right at me. "And are you going to do that?" I needed to be sure. "Of course, you're my guy, my best friend, besides we are both werewolves." He said with a smirk. "Thanks." I kept the letter and numbers back in the envelope and put it in my suitcase, I kept the credit card and car key with me. I finished packing, I removed my school books from my school bag and put in my phone, laptop, ear pod, I went to take a shower and out on fresh clothes, I out my sponge tooth brush and toothpaste in my luggage and the clothe I just took off went into my school bag. Timber and I carried my suitcases, which are only two to the living took where I saw several other suitcases. "Those are mine and Celeste's suitcases." He informed. "Let's put them in the car." I suggested and he agreed, we started putting all the luggage into the trunk of the car. We went upstairs to see how Meadow and Oscar are taking the news, I saw Meadow on Del's bed in new clothes, her face in the pillow and Oscar is just sitting there staring into space, he also was wearing fresh clothes, she must have given them a bathe. "Are you guys ready?" I asked putting a fake smile on my face, I need to be strong for them. Meadow turned at the sound of my voice. "They are gone." She said in a low said voice. "Yes but they are still here, watching over us." I said as I went to sit next to her. "Really?" She asked hopeful. "Yes, and you have your big brother with you." I flashed her a smile and she gave me a small smile in return. "And.....done." Del said as she closed what I'm hoping is the last suitcase. "Why are there so many suitcase?" There are about six suitcases. "We are moving we might never come back here, so I'm taking all my clothes and shoes and everything, and some are for Meadow and Oscar." She said with a pout and I shook my head at her. "We should get going." I said. "Help me with the suitcases." Del said as she grab a hold of two suitcases. "They won't fit into the car." I told her. "They must!!" She yelled. She also was in a new outfit. "The trunk is already full where will we put all these?" I wiped my hand over my face. "On top of the car, and some at the back seat." She said staring at me. "You can't be serious." I stared at her like she has grown another head. "Will you just stand there or are you going to help me?" We all took the suitcases downstairs to the car. We managed to put two suitcases in the back seat, one at the front, the remaining three went on top of the car, we held it there with a rope it was really difficult. Del and Celeste went to make toast and jam with orange juice for Meadow and Oscar to eat, afterwards Del locked the house keeping the key in her purse, we all entered the car and I drove off. "This place is so tight." Del whined. "All thanks to your boxes." I said and she huffed. I turned on the google map which will lead us to Aurora hills. "How many hours drive is it?" Celeste asked from the back. "Six hours drive, the time now is 10:39 am so we'll be there by 8:00 pm in the evening." I informed. "Can you drive for that long?" Del asked. "No, Timber and I will take turns, this is going to be a really long drive." I informed and I heard Celeste moan, you should probably do something with your phone or sleep. **** Four hours later. I've been driving for four hours, I'm exhausted. "How about you take the wheel when we reach that junction?" I asked glancing at him. "Sure no problem." He agreed. I looked at the mirror so I can see what the girls are doing, I see Celeste resting her head on Del's shoulder sleeping soundly, Del is doing God knows what on her phone and Meadow and Oscar are watching carton on Del's iPod. We reached the junction and I got down from the car, so did Timber as we switched sides so he could take the wheel. "If you see any food truck or restaurant please stop I'm hungry." Del said pleadingly. "Sure thing." Timber replied as he started the car, thirty minutes into driving we spotted a food truck ahead and stopped by it passing it a bit. "What would you like?" I asked Del and Celeste who are now awake due to hunger. "I would like a cheese Burger and a drink." Del ordered. "And I'll like some waffles." Celeste said drooling at the thought of it. "What would you guys have?" I asked Meadow and Oscar. "Two doughnuts and a yoghurt please." Meadow also so ordered. "I'll have the same thing." Oscar and Timber said in unison. "Copy cats." I heard Meadow moan as I got down from the car. I went to the food truck and bought all what everyone wants to have, I paid with the credit card that was in the envelope, it took a while to get everything but it was finally done, I took everything from the food truck guy and went back to the car. "What took you so long?" Del whined as she attempted to reached for the nylon of food in my hand but I pulled it far from her, I opened the nylon and handed everyone their food, we all ate in silence, the girls were having trouble eating due to the tight space, this is the latest model of Toyota corolla not a train that can carry lots of load. "I feel like throwing your suitcases out of the car." Celeste said as she tried to eat her waffles. "Can we do that?" Meadow looked at me hopeful. "No you can not!!!" Del said finally succeeding in putting her Burger in her mouth. Timber and I watched the show with a amused expression on our face. We all finished eating fifteen minutes later and started our journey again. **** Two hours later. "Hey wake up! We are here." I said as I reached to tap Del awake. "What?" She asked sleepily. "We are here sleepy heads!" I announced and they all woke up except Oscar. We entered Aurora hills town, I know thanks to the sign that says 'Welcome To Aurora Hills' the road isn't tiled with coal tar instead it's interlocked, this town is small but it looks nice. There were not a lot of people on the street as it was already past 8:00 pm, we saw a couple houses and shops as we drove by, I even spotted at bakery, we took a right turn and went straight ahead then took a left turn successfully arriving at Uncle Ronnie's house. "We have arrived!" Timber announced with a huge grin on his face. "Wait here. Let's go see if he is home." I said as Timber and I got down from the car and approached the door. I knocked, once, twice and the door swung opened. "Saffron, Timber!!" He said in a high pitched voice as he pulled us in for a hug, awkward. "What took you so long? I've been waiting." He said with a smile that was reaching his eyes as he pulled us both into an embrace and we just stood there awkwardly. He peeked behind us and saw our car. "Sorry, it was a six hours journey." I apologized. "Nice to see you both, what are your siblings still doing in the car? Tell them to come in." He said as he glanced at the car. We left him at the door way and went to the car to get the girls and boy. "Come on let's go in." Timber urged as he opened the door for them to get out while I went to carry the luggage in the trunk. They got out and helped out with some of the luggage. "Need a hand?" Uncle Ronnie asked yelling. "Yes please." I said as Del and Celeste left the car with two suitcases each and went to the house. "Go right in." I heard uncle Ronnie say and he approached us. He helped out with the rest of the luggage and we were all in the house sitting in his living room in no time. "This must be hard for you all." He said with sympathy. Uncle Ronnie is a man that's in a really good shape, he has really big biceps and muscles, with his really tall frame and broad shoulders he can intimidate anyone, he has jet black hair and a scar on his neck, it looked deep. "Yes it is, it really is." I responded with my head down. "I'm sorry for your losses." He said referring to both parents. "Thank you." Del said in a small voice. "You have a really big responsibility Saffron, you have so much to learn and do, same goes to you Timber." He said in his really deep voice, this man his really scary. "Sadly." I said as my lips quivered. "But you need to be strong, you have to pull yourself together, be the strong Alpha you were born to be, take down your enemies and rise with your pack and allies." His voice raised as he spoke the last words. "I don't know if I can do this." In all honesty I know I can't do this. "One of the qualities of a good, fierce and strong Alpha is courage, never be scared of a fight, never fear to do what's right, never be afraid of a challenge, stand with your head held high, speak with authority, and hold your pack dear for they are your weakness, Never. Give. Up." He leaned forward as I stared his eyes. His words motivated me, it willed me to give this a chance. I can't give up without even trying, if at all I fail, at least I know I tried therefore, I'm going to give my new life a chance, I'll be strong for the sake of everyone.
