"Wake up you sleepy head!!!" Del yelled as she repeatedly hit me with a pillow.

"Go away, its holiday, let me sleep." I whined.

"Mom and dad are not yet back!!!" She screamed and that successfully woke me up, I jolted up using my hand to rub away the remainder of the sleep from my eyes.

"What did you say?" I asked looking at her.

"They are not back, they are not in their room nor are they anywhere in the house!!" She said with a straight face.

"Maybe they crashed at a hotel, its probably nothing." I laid back down.

"I called mom and dad's phone, its switched off." She said placing her hand on her hips.

"You just don't want me to sleep," I grumbled as I got back up "so what are you saying?" I asked as I got out of bed.

"I don't know, I'm worried about them and what they said last night...." She trailed off.

"What do you want me to do?" I turned to her staring right her.

"Take a look at the envelope mom gave you, let's see what's in it." She urged.

"Will that make you feel better?" I don't like seeing her like this, she's really anxious and for no reason.

"Yes Saffron it will." She said and I sighed.

"Fine." I went to my bedside drawer and brought it out, she came to stand in front of me as I opened it. I took out a paper, it seemed to be a letter, I unfolded it and look at Del.

"Well read it out loud." She urged impatiently. She really has no patience.

My dear Saffron, My sweet Alpha, as you're reading this I want you to know that your father and I love all of you so much, we never wanted this life for you, he never wanted this for you, that's part of the reasons why he ran away from his responsibilities as Alpha, he abandoned his pack when they needed him the most the second they said we couldn't be together.

You're the next in line as Alpha of the Dark moon pack, the pack fell after your father and I abandoned it, but we want you to go there and bring it back up, there are rogues and other Alpha's terrorising the werewolf world, we need you to go there and make peace rein, you can do that with the help of Del, trust no one not even there werewolf council.

Your father is a werewolf while I'm a witch, it's an abomination for a werewolf to mate with other creatures, if I were to be a normal human it would have been better but as I am a witch they couldn't accept me, your father decided that if they wouldn't accept me then he would not lead them hence leaving us where we are.

My sweet Saffron your sister is the one who took my witch powers, we don't know what powers Meadow and Oscar have, we've been giving you all a potion that'll will suppress your powers, we are deeply sorry for keeping you in the Dark, we had your best interest at heart that's why we did this but we had a treaty, it was either you all get killed or us, Alpha Lucas is one of the worst Alpha's he did this but don't worry we are in a better place, we are back with the moon goddess.

Go back to your pack all of you, tell them you're the son of Alpha Jacob Williams, that you're the new Alpha, your wolf will come soon as it will no longer be suppressed, your sister will also get her full powers, and please when you find your mate, cherish her, protect her, love her, and lastly your pack is your home, don't do what your father did, fight! Never give up, protect your siblings, be united.

The Dark moon pack is located at the eastern side of a small town Aurora hills, don't grieve over us, this is not the time, once you get your wolf the voice in your head don't go right back to the pack, go to the address at the back of this letter, your uncle Ronnie lives there he'll train you, after you're ready go to your pack and claim your right, protect your pack, your siblings, never give up, there is always a way, we will be with you.

There is a spell book inside the side drawer of my bed, take it and give it to Del, she should study it and practice it, this is your new life, once you become an Alpha you'll need a source of livelihood for your pack, everything else you need to know is inside the side drawer of my bed in my room, Timber's parent will also guide you. Aside from them and your uncle Ronnie, trust no one until they earn your trust.

We love you, we wish we could tell you all this in person but we ran out of time, tell Del to be strong, she is a witch after all, tell her to be a good witch like me, she should uphold my name, uncle Ronnie's nephew is also a witch, he'll help train her, they are both going to be waiting for you.

Pack your backs and go to Timber's parent's house, together you all will go to Aurora hills, where your destiny and future lies, tell Del not to cry, tell your other siblings we love them so much, don't hide this from them tell them everything, you will be okay, the moon goddess will light your path and guide you, I hope your mate is lovely.

I read out loud, tears rolled down my cheeks, I couldn't believe what I just read, this can't be possible, Del's sobs filled my ears, I raised my gaze to look at her, she had her hand over her mouth crying and was shaking uncontrollably, mom and dad....are gone.

"They are gone!!!!" Del screamed as she fell on the floor crying even more.

I cried silently, I sat next to her and cry my eyes out, this is the best way to deal with this, she cried and so did I, her cries filled the room, I shut my eyes as my heart clenched, I felt a pain like no other, grieve engulfed me, my stomach churned, I couldn't believe this.

I still can't register what I read, I wish I never read that letter, my life was normal ten minutes ago but now, I'm a werewolf, this all feels like a prank, I'm a werewolf and Del is a witch, I would have laughed at that if it weren't true, they did this for us, I don't even know anything about all these, I'm so confused.

An hour later.

After an hour of crying, I finally compose myself, Del is still on the floor crying, tears rolled freely down her cheeks, I need to be strong for her, I need to console her, I shifted closer to her and pulled her close to me.

"It's okay, they are gone but they are in a better place, remember mom's words, be strong." I whispered slowly in her ears, trying not to cry myself, seeing her crying is going to also make me cry.

"Stop crying, everything will be fine." I encouraged, shaking her lightly.

"You're right." I heard a familiar voice say and I look in its direction.

"Timber?" I asked surprised to see him here.

"Yeah, I thought you guys might not be able to take the news so I decided to come here, I also could not take the news, but unlike your parents my parents told me everything and that was why I gave you that phone call, you seemed normal so I had to lie to you so as not to break the news to you." He said as he walked slowly into the room.

"What?!" I asked confused, my brain was nothing but mush right now.

"Your parent thought that Alpha Lucas wouldn't come after my parent but they were wrong." He said as he came to seat next to me.

"We both lost both of our parents." I said not believing the words that came out of my own mouth.

"Thanks for telling us because we didn't know about it already." Del said as she wiped her tears and Timber chuckled.

"Where is Celeste?" Del asked Timber. Celeste is Timber's sister.

"She is downstairs with your siblings who are wondering why you both have been crying. They think your boyfriend broke up with you again." He said smirking at Del and she rolled her eyes.

"So what do we do now?" Del asked staring at nothingness.

"We go to Aurora hills and stay with uncle Ronnie for a while, then....wait! You're also a werewolf right?" I asked just to be sure.

"Yup," he said popping the 'p' "both my parents are werewolves." He confirmed.

"Okay, so we go to uncle Ronnie and he'll train us both, while his nephew will train Del." I said glancing at them both.

"Okay, why don't you both shower and have breakfast then pack your bags and we'll head there." He suggested and we both nodded in agreement.
